Vanilla Hotel

Traveling with family members, they put us in 2 rooms, next to each other (28&29) at the end of a hall. Very convenient with a foyer. The front desk made phone calls for us, helping us get a ride to Krakow, and were always pleasant. Next to Old Town!

Cabs weren't allowed to come up to the hotel, because it's a pedestrian street. But it's not a big inconvenience, still possible.

Great old town location. Easy walk around the town area. Not far from the airport and train station.

The hotel is located perfectly for exploring the historic sights, as well as cafes and restaurants. It’s kept immaculately clean. The breakfast is fresh, nutritious and tasty. All the staff is warm and welcoming. We would stay here again.

The room did not have adequate options to place our belongings on - just a tiny table. Although the breakfast was very good, it was the same every day and it would be nice to change it up a bit from day to day. The scent in the lobby is too strong.

It was medium low hotel. Except location everything else was ok .

The room and bathroom was dark and old . No cleaning service on the weekend. Staff were OK. Not well informed about whatever we asked.

The pictures are fake, it seems there is a nice restaurant below... which is not the case. staff service IS TERRIBLE. We met the rudest people ever here. Marioska one of the the receptionists was incredibly unpleasant.... if you have no clue how to treat clients just don't run an hotel! Simple as that.

Location was excellent, but parking was initially very confusing because you had to drive all the way around town to get to it as no cars were allowed on the hotel street. The directions for usage off the parking was unclear and in two cases we had to pay double to exit because we were unaware that payment is timed. Once we figured it out it was ok, but we got no help or description of the procedures. Room was fine and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also good but it's the same every day and we were there an entire week. Service was very good in restaurant and front desk.

Air conditioning was weak but worked.

Excellent location. Very clean and attractively furnished, Luggage storage. Nice woman at breakfast serving.

One receptionist quite unhelpful about a taxi, another receptionist very good. NO SHUTTLE TO AIRPORT DESPITE WHAT THE HOTEL CLAIMS. Poor reception for Wi Fi, quite erratic. Not very good range of TV channels. Breakfast - no hot food provided the second day. Bed uncomfortable.

Quite a beautiful old building, tastefully decorated. Good sized room with sufficient space to store stuff. It was very quiet. A short walk to the old town (but some way from the station). Decent breakfast included. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Room wasn't made up during my stay.

The location is perfect for everything that Lublin has to offer, with all the tourist attractions, bars and restaurants within ten minutes' walk. Despite the very central location, noise was never a problem, and the breakfast was delightful.

A little bit noisy,you could hear other guests taking showers but I guess staying in a historic building,there is not much you can do.

1. Unimaginative breakfast (the same very limited choice over the 5 nights we stayed).2. Breakfast room very tight with low and very uncomfortable seating. Patrons with long legs had real difficulty in sitting at the tables.3. Early departure (for flight home) meant we would miss breakfast - offered a breakfast box for an additional 40-50 zloty per person - outrageous as breakfast was included in the price we paid so we declined the offer.4. Noisy room (#16) pizza restaurant virtually opposite, bar not 30m away and the 'square' a busy hub for cafes etc.5. Lots spent on decor of room but no thought to placement of furniture - wardrobe next to bed meant no bedside table or reading lamp on the right side of the bed, hooks for coats attached to side of wardrobe meant they hung over the bed (lucky it didn't rain), lights high in the ceiling couldn't be dimmed and had to be switched on to allow for reading in bed, curtains are for decoration only as cannot be drawn - roller blinds fitted to windows but the attachments were broken so blind flapped.6. The shower was a corner type and tight. The water pressure at full pelt was good initially but very quickly reduced to a barely acceptable level.7. No telephone in room (not a big deal but advertised as having one).8. No restaurant.9. The 'Vanilla Cafe' was only a cake shop and did not allow seating or even coffee.So, would we stay here again? Possibly, but not until the hotel has fully completed its renovations.

pillows not to my liking, huge but no real substance, no tea/coffee in the room, no fridge, no kettle, no room service, little things add up.

Cold rooms. ac not help because a lot of windows in the room. if you arrive at 9 pm after long travel it’s impossible to find food. Even no snaks. To have restaurant till 10 pm or at least lobby for snacks. no mini bar
