Amazing beds and even better bar and restaurant. A perfect one night stay on our way to Austria!

We liked the combination with bakery and Bio food shop, when we could eat freshly baked rolls, croissants cakes and other bakery.

The light switches are complex to operate and they are more like computer than light switches :-)

A small but very charming hotel with a wonderful restaurant and professional, friendly staff. We loved both the restaurant and the atmosphere. The room was comfortable and had a balcony.

It’s not exactly a drawback that would lower the rating, but despite the ultra-modern lighting and switch system, the bathroom was too dim in front of the large mirror for applying makeup and putting in contact lenses.

This is a small peacefull hotel with just 8 rooms. The caffe/bar/restaurant on the ground floor has a very nice menu and everything that we ordered was great. The highlight of our stay was the staff. Every one of them is trully exceptional and made us feel very welcome.

Amazing place to stay near Udine. Rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. Restaurant offers great local food and you can also buy local produce. Staff is kind and friendly.

It's a lovely little hotel. The beds are comfortable, the air-conditioning worked perfectly (it was 36 degrees outside!), the staff are very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was delicious and the food in the restaurant is reasonably priced and also very tasty.

Everything was great. It was just a shame that it wasn't possible to eat breakfast/dinner outside.

We have stayed 5 nights and already planning to return. We were very satisfied with overall with our experience. Check in was smooth, stuff was always helpful and kind. Our room faced at the back, view of the mesmerizing mountains from the balcony, it was quiet and super clean. Breakfast was always fresh and plenty (yoghurts, fruits, cereals, ham, cheese, jam, cakes, pastries, juice etc). We tried in the on-site restaurant their lunch and pizza’s in the evening. The pizza is a must! The location is great strategically, mountains and the sea in one hour distance. So we had a fabulous stay and highly recommend this friendly hotel. Thank you and keep up the great work!

The hotel is very nice, and the interior design looks very high-quality. The room comfortably accommodates two people. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean and really beautiful. The check-in was at the bar; the lady there was very friendly and offered us dinner in the restaurant starting at 7 PM, as that’s when the à la carte service begins. My friend and I accepted.

Shortly before 7 PM, we arrived at the restaurant and sat at the last table (a four-person table) in the back, as it was nicely shaded (it was 30 degrees outside). We ordered our drinks from the same friendly server from check-in, and they were served promptly; everything was fine until an employee (with short hair) came to our table and rudely asked if we had a reservation, which we confirmed. She then demanded that we get up and move to a different table, as we were not allowed to sit at a four-person table as a party of two. We had to take our drinks and she directed us to a two-person table on the side. While we were reading the menu, the waitress ssame short haired waitress suddenly appeared next to us, completely ignoring that we were still occupied with reading the menu and asked us what we wanted to eat. Our request for two more minutes was accepted, but friendliness is different. Breakfast the next morning/7-10 AM: we arrived at the breakfast room at 9:15. We opened the box for ham/cold cuts, it was empty. We opened the box for cheese - it was empty, water bottles - empty, butter - running low. At least I managed to get one glass of orange juice, then that was also empty. Two kinds of bread, one of which was just an end piece. I pointed this out to the young waitress, she was very nice and promised to do her best, but initially thought there was no more cheese. I was puzzled. In a hotel, there is no more cheese for breakfast guests? The young employee was visibly trying hard to replenish the depleted items at the buffet. In contrast, her young male colleague stood out for his unfriendliness and grumpy facial expression. Throwing a cleaning cloth disgustedly onto a table in front of guests and slamming the lid of the food box down carelessly, we found to be unacceptable. I recommend the hotel optimize in terms of guest service and guest interactions. Because the beautiful atmosphere of the rooms should also be reflected by the staff!

Location is ok on a main road but a bit outside the village. You need a car to move.

Beautiful, spacious and clean rooms in a quite new (small) hotel. The location was very convenient for us, a 20min drive from Udine. Uncomplicated parking on the property, staff/owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The main business seems to be the restaurant downstairs, which is lovely and has a great selection for vegetarians. Despite a lot going on (New Year's Eve), the rooms were quiet. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We seemed to be the only guests who ate breakfast, so there was no breakfast buffet and we were instead asked what we wanted. Considering the fact that it was the day after New Year's Eve, and the restaurant was packed the night before, and no one else was having breakfast, that's perfectly understandable. We still got everything we needed/asked for and the quality (fruit, bread, marmelade...) was perfect. Service was much appreciated.

The staff was very helpful and waited for us, although we arrived late, outside the checking hour.The breakfast was a typical Italian one, with a lot of carbohydrates and not much proteins.The room was freshly cleaned and comfortable with a spacious bad which had all the necessary toiletries.

A table with two chairs on the balcony would be nice.

The location is absolutely perfect. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and just ideal. It is so well run and the friendliness of the hosts/staff was wonderful.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

Easy parking, lovely mountain vistas, comfy beds and great bathrooms. The breakfast was super tasty and recommended the restaurant below.

We couldn't have been happier with the place! We only stayed one night during our road trip. The location can be reached in 15mins from Udine by car and there are private parking spaces in front of the building. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable.
