La Posada

Hotel employee were perfect hosts and helped us immensely. The rooms we had were quite different but both were comfortable, clean, well equipped and the location was excellent. We highly recommend this venue

Very nice view on the sea. Easy to park. Very nice appartement well equipped.

We arrived late and it is not easy to find in the dark. It is just 10 meters after the Posada restaurant.

The accommodate is on good place, in centre of Corniglia.The host is very helpful and friendly. We recommend it for everybody.

We had a whole flat. The flat was lovely with views of the sea. It was very clean. The proprietor came and met us in the village and helped carry our stuff which was very kind. We appreciated the cake she gave us! Bed was comfortable and shower was nice too.Corniglia is a lovely village with great places to eat. You are high up above the sea here but the views are very nice.

The electrics were a little bit bewildering at first. but it was quite fun trying to work out which switch turned on which light. This didn’t spoil our stay at all.

The unit we stayed is clean，quiet with a sea view. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen and dining area are tastefully decorated with good quality supplies. The La Posada restaurant is right next door. Food quality was great and the outdoor seating garden overlooks the coastline. The host lady does not speak English, but she was very kind and patient. The apartment is not related to the restaurant of the same name. To check in, it’s best to text the host (or call if you speak Italian) and wait outside the restaurant. The host lady shows up in minutes.

The hot water for the kitchen and bathroom are supplied via an on-demand heater. It’s needs to be turned on to get hot water. It’s set to off positions when we checked in. Its operation was not clearly marked. It only took us a few minutes to figure everything out though. It’s a good idea to ask the host how to turn it on during check in.

Check in was a bit difficult. No sign. No instructions. No English.

From the images advertised we thought this room was at La Posada restaurant slightly out of the town but it was a room in the centre of town over looking the main square. The doors provided adequate sound proofing. Although the location wasn't a problem it was not as advertised.

This was a great spot, perfectly situated over a little piazza where we could sit on the small balcony and watch the hustle and bustle below. It was quiet and comfortable. A real gem in this beautiful town.

The view was lovely, shops and village were minutes away and the apartment had everything we needed. Very easy to find your way around. The welcome was great and parking and washing facilities were wonderful. The owner was very responsive and although we don't speak Italian and she spoke nearly no English, there were no problems communicating and she even came to see us off at 7 am.

The drive to the village along narrow roads with sheer drops was an experience. There was no access to the sea and the train station was a very steep climb down, and of course, back up that at 40 degrees was restrictive. If you want a stop with views and swimming, not the place but for a friendly village and wonderful views, it's wonderful.

We got the room with the balcony and the view was amazing!! We had dinner on the balcony, looking at the sunset on the sea and breakfast in the morning looking at the mountains. It was magical.The room was really clean, with everything you can need. The position is super central, but far enough from the noise. I’ll love to visit again

The room was very clean, it smelled very nice. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. The view was spectacular. Our host was very helpful, she offered us many tips about where to eat and how to get around.

The location was great - right in the centre of the town. The room had a small balcony that overlooked the mountains and sea. It was clean and nicely appointed. The host was very accomodating and let us store our luggage on our last day of sightseeing.

The room was quite small (but having the balcony was nice). The A/C unit didn't seem to cool the room much. The host does not speak any english, but Google translate certainly helped.

Need be more specific how to get to property and how to contact the owner. If I did not read previous reviews, I would be lost. It would be good if it was a self checking facility.

The apartment itself is cute and the view from the window is beautiful.

There was no toiletries given. One roll of toilet paper and no napkins or paper towels anywhere. Check in says it starts at 1:00 and I let them know I was arriving at 1:00 but it wasn’t ready until 3:30pm. We arrived and no one was answering or were given any sort of instructions on how to check in. Communication on their part was extremely poor. I asked the restaurant owners which is a separate business and they were kind enough to provide me with a phone number to call, however there was no answer. 10 minutes later and a lady speaking Italian came downstairs to bring us up. She was the cleaning lady and told us to go explore and come back later because she was not done cleaning. This was at 3:00pm. We were really tired from our train ride and wanted to nap for a little first , so we waited on the couch while she took 30 more minutes to finish cleaning the house. Very unprofessional:/
