Cinzia was the perfect host — warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful! Our stay in the beautiful Starfish Room couldn’t have been better. After a long drive, the stunning view and thoughtful welcome drink and snacks were such a treat. The room and amenities were the perfect retreat after a day exploring Cinque Terre.

Wonderful rooms, beautifully decorated, lovely amenities including a welcome bottle of wine and tissues!!!, well located, nice garden area outside.

The only downside was a background odor in both rooms - there were pleasant reed diffusers in both rooms that tried to mask, but the sensitive noses in the group noticed.

Location perfect for exploring Cinque Terre. We hiked north, then took train south and walked back to our town. Nice local restaurants .Our view from room was incredible. In room snacks and wine .

We thought was a hotel but actually more of a bed and breakfast. Was really not a problem!

Everything! The apartment is perfectly located, it is clean, comfortable, well-equipped. The owner, Cinzia, is more than friendly, she helped with the direction, with the parking, explained everything, even prepared a surprise for us in the apartment! We were more than happy to stay at Amare Il Mare, would return anytime!

We were in the “Wine Room” and loved our stay! The room has incredible views and made great use of space. Excellent hospitality - Cinzia went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and convenient arrival and departure.

I loved the place and the location. The room is centrally located in Corniglia with beautiful walks around the village. The apartment entrance/exit is right by the steps down to the train station, which is really convenient. It is about 300 steps down to the station. We arrived by car and the host also provided us with a parking space within a short walking distance. It is generally not recommended to drive into the village by car as the roads are small and windy and generally only have room for one vehicle with traffic going both ways. So, avoid driving if you can, but we loved the fact that were provided with a parking space. The host was amazing. The room was very clean with a nice little balcony with gorgeous views of the ocean and nearby village. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Wonderful location, room was comfortable and very clean. The private terrace with a spectacular view is the main attraction. The host is super friendly and helpful. I let her know it was my wife's birthday and they prepared a wonderful surprise with balloons and a bottle of prosecco. Highly recommended.

Loved the decor and personal touches. The wine and snacks were especially welcome. The views were outstanding.

In extreme hot weather, the beautiful deck outside the suite was almost unusable because of all the hot air from the air conditioning unit.

Everything was incredibly clean, and the host has thought of every little detail. We had everything we needed and more in the room. Location is excellent and host was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!!

Small room, but very clean and comfortable. Bright and airy, with a view of the water. Good AC and plenty of hot water for the shower. Lots of conveniences too, like a mini fridge, coffee, and snacks. Our host also picked us up at the train station, which was much appreciated.

Corniglia is the best base from which to explore the Cinqua Terra - right in the middle. The apartment is close to the train station and a very short walking distance for the village center. The kids found the barrel-like design of the room cool.

The apartment was close to town and they thought of everything! This is a wonderful spot in Corneglia and close to the hiking trail and the train station.

The owners were wonderful people. Very kind, very helpful. Stay in the room with the terrace if you can afford it. The view is incredible!

We stopped for one night on a through hike in Cinque Terre. Quiza is an amazing host. She made it easy to find her and check in. She was responsive and willing to accommodate our changing schedule. She thought of all the details a traveler may need from providing an adaptor, to a welcome gift including wine, water, pizza snacks and breakfast items - this host went above and beyond expectations. The room was small, but provided a lot of amenities. This was a most comfortable bed and the view from the balcony in the Stone Room was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Sweet with nice amenities, sheets and towels. Paid good attention to details and made us feel very welcome.Felt very safe and walkable. Very accommodating owners.

It was previously a wine cellar and was very damp and humid. Towels could not dry and clothes felt very wet.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The wineroom was cozy and beautifully decorated. every detail was added with such care, love, and savoir-faire. You can feel the personal touch in every corner. We were warmly welcomed and very well assisted throughout our stay, with thoughtful recommendations and clear communication. The cherry on top was the breathtaking view of the sea, which made every moment even more special. It is a truly perfect place to relax and feel at home.

The host was so friendly, and very attentive to special requests I had. I was here alone for this short trip and look forward to returning to Amare il Mare for a romantic escape in the future!

Great stay and great hosts! We had the room with the large terrace and it was such nice respite in between activities. I know there are probably views tat do not include the train tracks, but we needed up happy we didn't book on that side of town. This stay was RIGHT by the stairs that go to the train platform and it was on the trail to walk between cities. So for us it was a better location. We like the quiet of Corniglia and it has really cute bars and restaurants and a great ocean access point for swimming with way less crowds. The windows block all the outside noise too. Air conditioner is cold, water is hot, linens are soft, bed is comfortably firm, snacks and coffee/tea are provided. Hosts were super friendly and VERY responsive. AND...there is parking.

Our only wish was black out blinds on all windows. There were two that didn't have them. We slept great but for those very sensitive to light this might be a thing.

The host Cynzia was extremely kind and helpful - picking us up and dropping us off and helping with all our bags to and from the station. The apartment is spotlessly clean and the view is spectacular.

For older people - there are stairs up to the apartment - it is a little cramped and you have to access the kitchen by going outside which is a little challenging in winter or in the rain.
