- This is a wonderful place to stay in A Guarda. We had booked elsewhere and it was terrible. I wish we would of stayed the 2 nights here instead! Staff were so helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and you only need to go outside around the corner to shopping. Breakfast was well organized in the morning, there were lots of Camino walkers here!
- This hotel was our rest stop during the Camino Portugues de Costa. We booked it the last minute and didn't know what to expect. It ended up being one of the nicest rooms we've had ! : very spacious, light, clean, new furniture. The beds were comfortable, the staff was very nice. It's also in the center of the town, walking distance from many restaurants and shops.
- A very nice room and the staff were excellent
Cons -

- Nothing:)
- I had trouble finding it ( on foot)

I had trouble finding it ( on foot)
Beautiful clean room with good shower and comfortable bed. Nice breakfast included
My room window opened to an accessible courtyard. It had a blind but I could have sunshine or privacy, not both
Great location, great breakfast and very clean!
Great location. Large room with great amenities. Would certainly stay again. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful.
Convenient location
No air conditioning and could not even take a piece of bread from breakfast. I have stomach issues and cannot eat early so I like to take a muffin or croissant with me for later. But totally not allowed here.
Was very well kept - unique lookingThe receptionist was very friendly &
The bed arrangement was not what we expected - as seniors, bunk beds are hard to get into. The pillows could be more comfortable - fluffier
Excellent breakfast. Good beds. Quiet and clean.
We had a small "apartment" which was nice because we had more room for our suitcases. It also had a kitchenette so we were able to make coffee. The bed was under a slanted ceiling so we had to be extra careful not to hit our heads. The breakfast was good. The hotel also has a small underground parking area.
The staff at breakfast were somewhat rude and glared at everyone to make sure no one took food from the buffet to eat later.
loved the shower - I think I used it 3 times appreciated the picnic lunch, because of early departure
The staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great.
The Murphy bed was a bit uncomfortable.
Great location, very clean and helpful staff. Fun activity: take taxi, they will call, to top of mountain to view ruins and artifacts then walk down stairs and trail leads right to hotel
One small suggestion would be to organize the breakfast better was a bit crazy at 8:00
We had a good welcome. That's it
Just FYI. No AC. Our bad we didn't check it. But note, without AC, you will need to leave the windows open. And it can be really loud outside. People are just starting their life at 1 AM shouting and partying in the street. The hotel is in the middle of the city so don't expect a nice breeze to come in. Lastly. Didn't feel safe at all with that setting and windows open. Now this is where the 1 star came from. We bought wine to relax. No glass in the room so I asked for just 1 glass. And the answer was "Mercado" pointing outside. Very rude. Also think this is over priced.
Very clean and nice place, good breakfast.
No air conditioning in 35 degree heat, terrible. At least a fan could help you sleep.
Staff was helpful and pleasant. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Location was close to a market, a farmacia and a lavaderia.
Location was close to excellent restaurants and the ocean. Staff so helpful and welcoming. Rooms clean and beds comfortable.
Smaller hotel was perfect for us. Good location for our travel. Staff provided good information about restaurants when asked. Although limited English, used computer translator very effectively. Loved this forethought! Enjoyed the breakfast which was included in the stay. Good variety offered.
Although restaurants were suggested there were none close to the hotel.
We loved the breakfast, it had lots of selection. Room was modern and spacious.
No comfortable chair in the room.
Everything was perfect. Excellent value for price. Very spacious room, lovely reception attendant nice buffet breakfast.
