Pros +
- The room smelled awful. It was on an extremely busy street right over top of two busy restaurants with patios. It was impossible to stay in that room. I booked another hotel and of course they gave me no refund. The hotel I ended up booking was a lovely room for only €40 more.
- The staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to check in an hour early since the room was already prepared. I really appreciate the soup and bread after arriving from the Camino. I know my booking didn't include breakfast, but they offered it. My room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The hotel has a lift. It was in a quiet location.
- Clean and comfortable. Nice continental breakfast. Host was very helpful with bus transportation to Vigo.
Cons -
- I had a noisy neighbor till 2 am.
- Breakfast lines not organized. Too many people not honoring the line and pushing ahead to get served. Maybe only today?
- Check in was a little slow

The room was a good size and had all the facilities we needed. The reception and breakfast staff were really friendly, I think it is a family run business.I loved the little breakfast provided, that was an unexpected treat.
Check in was a little slow
Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. Grocery stores and restaurants nearby. They provided a very nice breakfast in the morning. Great value for an overnight stay on the Camino.
Great location, pleasant staff, included breakfast was nice, included in-garage parking was also nice but be careful, very tight to drive in&out
Good mattress, kind hosts, good value for money
For this price everything was fair
+ Very comfortable bed+ cleaning + Modern bathroom featuring a glass shower screen and a rainfall shower head
- The heated towel rail has an unusual color.- room with no air conditioning - hotel info and images must be improved in booking platform
Hotel Bruselas was one of the highlights of our Camino. When we arrived, we were greeted by Marisa, who welcomed us and made us feel comfortable from the moment we met her. The hotel is immaculate and had everything we needed, including a delicious continental breakfast. What made this place so special though was the warmth of the very special host-- this sort of human touch was one of the reasons we walked the Camino-- and we found it at Hotel Bruselas in the beautiful town of A Guarda. Thank you Marisa, for making our Camino even more special. We hope that Santiago sends you many more pilgrims! Mil gracias!
We liked everything.
The bed was comfortable, the breakfast service was amazing, and the staff was incredible
The water didn't go down the drain in the bathtub, and the room was very warm
The man in reception is super nice and helpful. He helped us a lot. Thank you !
The utensils and the plates and glasses were filthy! Someone licked a yoghurt off the spun and just put it in the drawer! Disgusting! Glasses full of stains and fingerprints, dried food still on the plates YUCK ! And no kettle. All of this for 70 euro is truly shocking! Also watch out for shouting teens having a party all night long and you can hear every damn word!
Great location & friendly people!
The room wasn't very clean. We found unsightly items on the floor in the bathroom and didn't feel comfortable walking barefoit around the bed.
Clean and comfortable. The staff and receptionist were extremely helpful and very nice.
Had an elevator which we loved after our long walk . Helpful staff.
Wish you they has yogurt at breakfast but the milk was good
The host was very helpful in an unusual situation- we arrived just as the power went out across all of Spain and Portugal for 20 hours. He served us some homemade soup and later directed us to one of few open restaurants for dinner - just down the block.
The hostess that offered me a cup of homemade soup when I arrived.?One of the few places who offered breakfast which was a great start to the day
All good
Stayed here on the Camino - old school hotel whose rooms have been modernised. Very comfortable rooms and bathrooms were excellent. Located a 5 min walk from the harbour, with plenty around it, I would stay here again. Breakfast was simple but did me until lunch.
Very close to Camino. Located near laundry, grocery store, and restaurants. Hostess is lovely, served cerveza, soup and bread upon check-in. Then a light breakfast. Bathrooms are new and entire room was clean.
