Avithos Resort Hotel

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, lovely accommodation and facilities. Our room was upgraded on arrival. Very quiet late season which was great for us.

Breakfast was excellent.

No evening meal menu. All day menu very limited.

We only had one request which was to be near our friends who also had a child. We were the furthest away from each other. Under the beds haven't been cleaned in a long time.

Reception was always busy with arrivals so we could never ask just a question.

Although food was nice the hotel prices were a bit on the pricey side considering buying a coffee or a salad in a restaurant elsewhere was quite a bit cheaper

Great swimming pool, great room .Very clean.

Excellent buffet breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything you need.

The food menu at the resort was very basic. Only 2Options for dinner. Not a lot of variety and was quite expensive for what you got.

We found that they checked in a lot of people for one night at the weekend to accommodate being close to the airport. Considering what you pay per room and the addition of breakfast etc, there were no sunbeds free all day and it felt very over subscribed.

The price of the water was a little expensive best to buy from a shop

Lovely comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, cleaned bedroom every day. Decent food at the bar. Nicely decorated and very good shower.

Downstairs apartment meant the outside terrace wasn't very private or sunny. The apartment inside was dark with very limited natural light. The mirrors at the dressing table were small and oddly placed so not really very functional.

Clean and stylish near the airport- but without the noise. Good breakfast. Nice pool….. but way to cold!!

Value for money wasn't great. The apartment was nice and modern but felt it could have been more spacious. For the price we paid, it should have included free breakfast and facilities wise pool was a bit small and there was no evening entertainment or music. You need a car to get around and the nearest beach doesn't have sun loungers.

The hotel was beyond our expectations. The breakfast was really good with mainly greek fresh products. The staff was really helpful.Definatelly coming back.

The cleaning ladies didn't respect the "Do not disturb" sign and either knocked once and entered the room or they were cleaning the room even when the sigh was at the door.

Staff were phenomenal, beautiful pool and rooms.

Bit far from beach / other tavernas but plenty of parking for a hire car

Nice peaceful resort and beautiful grounds. The rooms and public areas have all been decorated in a lovely way. The girls that greeted us on reception were friendly and welcoming.

Not a problem for us as we had a car but there isn’t a huge amount around the hotel.

We went out of season when shuttles and buses had stopped so we had to get taxis everywhere which could be expensive or hire a car.

Silly rule that although the apartment kitchen was well-equipped, there were no washing-up facilities — no liquid, no brush, no cloth. When we asked for those things we were refused: “You are on holiday, you don’t have to wash up.” Yeah, but we didn’t want to sit with dirty dishes for up to 24 hours. And no clean coffee cups. Really, really stupid.

The rooms are very nicely decorated and there is a lot of storage space. At breakfast, intolerances are catered for, i.e. there are gluten-free and lactose-free.

The kitchen could be equipped with some basics: Dishwashing liquid, sponge, rag, salt, etc. they could have Mosquito protection on the windows.

Staff we’re extremely helpful during our stay. We came towards the end of the season and got a very welcomed room upgrade, which got our holiday off to a grand start! The rooms were clean and comfortable with all the necessities needed. Within walking distance to some local beaches and restaurants which were all lovely. A small supermarket in walking distance for bread, snacks and water. Some of the restaurants were closing due to end of season so keep an eye out for this when planning your trip more restaurants within 10mins in lassi.I found the resort to be in an ideal spot for someone who likes to get out and have an early morning run without having to run on busy roads. Found a few nice routes to do round the resort. We hired a hire car so we spent some days touring kefalonia. The resort is close to the airport for anyone not wanting to hire a car.
