Pros +
- Beautiful property, amazing views, and unique design throughout. Great proximity to the beach and the private beach with sun beds is a nice perk.
- I didnt realise how big the property was and how it was set up. It was great that you could move around and change up pool locations and restaurants. Being able to walk through the property to get to different locations and the beach access was amazing. The beds and umbrellas for hotel guests only on the beach was fantastic. The food for breakfast (all you can eat) was a highlight. The fitness classes were also amazing offerings.
- From the service to the rooms. Everything is amazing here. We enjoyed this hotel so much. A lot of activities organized by the hotel. You don’t get bored. The beach in front of the hotel is one of the best in the island. I definitely recommend staying here.
Cons -
- The food and restaurant options were okay - a bit expensive and some of the meals were not so tasty. The service was excellent and the wait staff attentive (minus the downstairs bar and pool area - there were a few times we left due to not being waited on)
- Nothing, it was a great experience. I have stayed are 'nicer' 5star hotels, but this offered most of the amenities and experiences as any 5star hotel.
- Food can be better for sure (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

The hotel is beautiful, the location and design makes it feel really nice. The fitness/yoga schedule is amazing and so many different spaces to exercise in! So much to choose from - if you're thinking of a solo holiday, there is so much to do and they do group kayaking and hiking too. Also free hire of kayaks and paddle boards which was great! The cinema was a nice touch. The restaurants were nice and had a good range of dishes on offer, and the breakfast was selection from a menu rather than just a buffet which was really good. I cannot fault the housekeeping, the daily room cleaning was so thorough. The app is also really useful to make bookings.
The staff were very hit or miss. When we arrived we were given a disclaimer to sign regarding group activities, and a welcome drink, but were then ignored until my husband went to the desk to return the forms (whereas the family behind us were seen to after completing their forms and drinks and taken to their room). They were quite busy with check ins and other guests, but felt a little bit like we were just a nuisance! We then got shown to our room and told there was an app we could use to book everything. Later in our stay we saw other guests being shown around the hotel... there just wasn't any customer service consistency. Same with the staff in the restaurants - there were a couple of really good waiters, but they must have been trained elsewhere. We actually didn't get our meal at all one night - we had to ask after an hour (and watching everyone around us getting theirs)... it had been missed. All of these things in isolation would be forgiven, but it's NOT a cheap hotel, and for the money we spent, we'd expect excellent consistent service, and it's not that. It's nice to have a private section of beach, but there are not enough beach sunbeds for the size of the hotel. The hotel is on a big hill (which I think is made clear on Booking.com) but don't underestimate the climb back up to the top from the beach! Little things - our room was right next to the chimney for one of the restaurants, nothing could be done about it but when they were cooking lunch it made our terrace smell which was a shame. There are also only plastic "glasses" in the rooms - again, a little thing, and I understand it's safer when there is hard floor everywhere, but it's not great drinking a glass of wine from a plastic cup.
The location was fabulous and the hotel built into the hillside maximised its use of space and the beauty of the landscape brilliantly. The range of exercise classes available and the extensive breakfast menu was icing on a very lovely cake.
Mosquitos were plentiful - the only negative
Relaxed high quality classes, delicious food, gorgeous views, lovely staff and great accommodation. All together a very relaxing barefoot-style holiday.
Too short a trip. Hardly left the hotel (so glad we at least did an e-bike tour and kayak trip)
Room and view and plunge pool all exceptional. The food and bars are great.Pools also great. The beach is heavenly
Great facilities, lovely room (Classic Retreat) and superb staff. We were given a true welcome by Andreas who was brilliant and super attentive. He looked after us for two nights at the Selini restaurant. We did Wine Tasting with Thodoris who was incredibly knowledgable and made the experience really special. We had an incredible dinner at Gaia restaurant where Tom was fabulous. And last but not least, Yeti at the beach bar was amazing each and every day!The hotel helped us organise a hire car to explore the island one day which was super efficient and easy.We also had massages at the Spa which were phenomenal!Thank you for a perfect stay - we will be back.
Nothing!
The hotel is really nice and offers amazing activities (hiking, pilates, tennis/padel etc.) and services. The location is perfect if you are looking for a more relaxed and less crowded part of the island. With great food options that we found nowhere else on the island.
My wife and I chose this hotel because we were looking for a quiet retreat before having our first child. The adults only & wellness aspect really sold us. We were expecting it to be a relaxing leg of our trip, but some events that happened (listed below) made it not as relaxing as we had hoped1.The most bothersome issue we faced was that our room was next to the housekeeping area, and there would be random noises of plates clattering at night and voices of people talking from early morning (around 7:30). At first we thought it was our neighbors, which we can’t do anything about, but then we saw that it was all coming from the housekeeping staff. They would talk to each other from across the hall and even from different floors at all hours of the day, which literally woke us up every day. When we found out the reason, we spoke with the reception manager and she did not show any understanding towards us. She said she will speak with them but actually did not solve the issue. We still woke up the next day from the noise.2.On one of the days we were there, they knocked on our doors at 10:45 pm right as we were about to sleep to do the “turn down” service.3.There was a stain on the pillow from the first day we checked in, we asked for our sheets to be changed daily and we put the sign on the bed thinking that will solve the stain issue. The stain remained until the day we checked out, even after informing the reception manager.4.We had booked the garden retreat, and knew that we might encounter some insects, which we did. But we did not think we would find a huge spiderweb with a spider on the ceiling right over where we were sleeping. It’s something that should have been cleaned up by the hotel without us having to point it out.5.Lastly, our check out time was 11 am. We went to our room at 10:30 am to use the restroom and make sure we didn’t forget anything before checking out only to see that they were already cleaning our room (finally lol).
This is our all time favourite hotel. It was our second time visiting after our honeymoon in 2022, and we looked forward to coming back for so long. The exceptional views, the wonderful staff, the beautiful design and tranquil setting are like nothing else we've ever experienced. We thought the food was even better this time and really enjoyed all the yoga classes. The instructors are really great and there's truly an activity for everyone at all levels. We will 100% come back again!
Nothing, all was perfect!
Beautiful property - incredible food and facilities to relax as well as enjoy the variety of fitness options ; excellent service from staff
No toilets close to the beach ;
Nice hotel, beautiful, with magnificent views. Everyone is extremely helpful and polite. Loved the swimming pools and atmosphere.
I didn’t like food in the hotel, even though it was overpriced. Cocktails are average as well. Also the room is quite small for the money.
Stunning hotel, beautiful grounds and decor , amazing views. Second visit here and didn’t disappoint
Sports and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. All staff around the resort also helpful. Lots of different exercise, yoga, pilates, meditation classes on offer each day. The wellness classes were very good. Restaurant fare was excellent, particularly the breakfast. Also 3 pools to choose from plus loved swimming at the beach every day.
The check-in experience was a bit average, with very little information given to us on how to use the app, how to book classes and what was extra etc. Luckily we were with friends who had been there before.
Gorgeous property. We chose this spot for the gym, and they (there are several—all outdoors) did not disappoint! Well-equipped and clean. We took at least 12 fitness classes between the two of us over the course of a week and loved them all. There is a huge variety and something for everyone. Huge shout out to Stamos and Patras. Our room was perfect, with a refreshing infinity plunge pool. The pool was surrounded by lush gardens and very private. F Zeen is big but it never felt crowded. Every staff member we came in touch with was so personable and helpful, and truly made our stay. Great breakfasts. Great beach for swimming. We loved our stay and will be back!
There are ants everywhere. Not the property’s fault as they are all over the island. Just important to keep patio door shut at all times. We had a group get in our room and housekeepers responded immediately and took care of the problem. No toxins used:-)
Beautiful room - the hotel upgraded us which was much appreciated and it had a beautiful terrace and view
The food, drink and spa offerings were mostly very pricey
The room views were amazing and the fitness facilities were really good.
We found it very odd that the restaurant / bar besides the pool closed at 4.30 which seemed very early. It is usually about 5/6.00 when you fancy a drink as it starts to cool down. We also found some of the staff really friendly & helpful but others not that accommodating. For example breakfast finished at 11 & I heard guests who were having their breakfast ask for coffee's etc at about 11.02 to be told breakfast had finished. Not what you expect at a hotel like this.
Great beach, All facilities and activities provided by the F Zeen on site and at the beach itself are excellent, if you want to relax, have a little adventure and stay 5 stars at the same time F Zeen is excellent.
Very aesthetic landscaping and design throughout the property added a lot of charm. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Bedrooms were very comfortable with good mattresses. A lot of thought has gone into the details of the hotel all the way down to providing really nice beach towels. I stayed in the Emilise last year and felt that the F Zeen is the better of the two.
the place was magical and perfect lots of steps to our room but we did expect that as it’s in a hill , however the view and room were perfection when you reached it
