Pros +
- Great hotel with good food, nice spaces and friendly staff.
- The breakfast was delicious. The family room was very spacious and they were able to accomodate a travel cot for the baby. Pool and mini golf facilities were a hit for the children too!
- Pool availability. On-site bar. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Nice dinner menu, and reasonable value.
Cons -
- Our room smelled musty and faint sense of sewer gas, which appeared to be from empty pee traps of the sinks, shower and tub. Staff quickly took care of this issue.
- The temperature in the room was quite warm, but there was a blower in the room.
- There were not a lot of vegetarian diner options.

The location was great, very natural and beautiful. I like the walkways to the rooms. The restaurant was nice and breakfast also good. Didn’t use the pool but the are looks great. There is a nice vibe in the whole place. I enjoyed it and I’ll keep this place in mind for a future trip.

Nice rooms, good food and they even allow dogs.
There were not a lot of vegetarian diner options.
Good location. A lot of dogs stayed in the hotel because of the fire works. My dog was very relaxed which was nice. Every year he has stress because of the fireworks. We could have breakfast in an area where the dogs were allowed. I appreciate it when hotels are accommodating this because not every dog can stay alone in the (strange) hotel room. The sauna was perfect! Beds very comfortable. We stayed in the Nature room, very nice room
The room was very warm. We couldn’t turn down the heating but there is a ventilator above the bed which made it ok the sleep. For me this is not negative but I can imagine people don’t like it when the room is very warm.
location was nice - really felt like you were in the forestit has a heated pool, but only open until end september and for limited hoursroom was nice - with tea and nespresso making facilities
food in restaurant was over priced and of average quality. Restaurant staff not very well trained. Did not ask what type of wine we wanted and it was pretty awful (oxidised). Other staff were at also not particularly friendly or helpful. The room and bathroom could have been cleaner, and the bed was 2 singles with a very thin mattress which partly fell off teh based during the night
Great location - in the countryside but close enough to get to nearby towns and villages. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help with any queries. The reception area, restaurant, bar and rooms are all very modern and look to have been recently refurbished. The place had a really nice feel to it. The pool is lovely - big enough to swim lengths - and a nice way to cool off after a day out cycling. Plenty of bikes for hirer - including electric.
There were no bedside tables in our room - only a tiny stand with a light that would only fit your phone - no room for a glass, book, charging station etc. It didn’t seem the hotel were keen to service rooms each day and although we requested that ours was, often not much was done. Beds were loosely made but cushions and throw not put back on. Tea/coffee tray not tidied/cleaned or replenished. We were very lucky with the weather so did find our room rather warm, especially at night, with no air con. There were mosquitoes and we did get bitten as had to have the windows open to get air in. Air con would be useful or if not at least a ceiling fan. The menu in the restaurant was quite limited and during our five night stay didn’t change. Maybe could have done with a few more options or some daily specials. Food was pretty good and wines were nice and priced reasonably. Possibly make bikes 24hr hirer rather than per day or do discounted packages for longer hirer so you don’t feel like you have to use them for a whole day each time you hire them.
Very nice location in the forest. Extensive breakfast buffet. Bicycles available for rent, which we used and enjoyed on the long bike trails along the road.
Excellent stay. We had a relaxing weekend by the pool. Nice room, good bar, restaurant was nice, food was nice , breakfast was nice.
Everything was very good
The hotel exceeded my expectations. Stylish room, horizontal lines of the wall complement the horizontal lines of the curtains. The color of the curtains matches the upholstery of the bed, all the textiles are pleasant to the skin. The mattress and pillows are ideal, the chair is comfortable. All the equipment works, there is enough coffee. The shower and bath are ideal. The shampoo and soap smell like green tea. The temperature in the room is comfortable. There is a safe and a refrigerator with welcome water. The territory of the hotel is like a green oasis. The pool with salt water, holds well. The water does not dry the skin and does not smell of chlorine. An elegant bar and a beautiful restaurant. The staff is friendly, the maids are very thorough. At breakfast there was a choice of several types of eggs, and jam can be put in an edible waffle cone. Silence and relaxation. We liked it.
Grass field around the swimming pool had a camping-like feel to it. Bar was cosy, staff was nice but inexperienced.
We came here by bike and were told that the restaurant was fully booked. Only after trying different staff members we were eventually able to get a table. Food was not good at all, dishes were cold, meat was so-so, staff were friendly but very inexperienced. This place could use a manager who knows what hospitality is about, because there is definitely room for improvement. Our room was quite old, but clean(ish). Better cleaning and a bit of paint would be nice. The coffee/tea maker in the room was broken and we got two cappuccino as a workaround. Also several outlets seemed faulty and there was no remote for the TV. There was a tablet, but it kept rebooting, probably software issue. All could be fixed with some extra attention.
Beautiful environment, great staff!
Breakfast was mediocre. No fresh juice, only egg and pork for toppings. Bread was not top quality.
Great hotel in the woods with nice area and facilities. We stayed only one night and would definitely stay longer next time. There are various options for breakfast available.
Take with you something to plug in the room to protect from mosquitos. It’s understandable that there are lots of them considering the location, but could be a game changer for a deep sleep :))
Check-in went smoothly. Room type was quite basic, but convenient. Not noisy. Location is excellent. Great opportunities for cycling trips and walks. Breakfast was good.
We had booked a more attractive room, but were downgraded because of travelling with a dog. Nothing about this room restriction can be found on the booking.com web page of this hotel. That was a bit of a disappointment.
I liked everything about this hotel. The location is really nice; all you hear are birds. Breakfast is good, there's a lot of choice and you can also enjoy it outside. Rooms are clean and quiet. The staff (in hotel and restaurant) is very friendly. The weather was a bit chilly, but because the pool is heated I could swim anyway.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Restaurant and pool looked nice.
Mould in the bathroom. Check in procedure. 4 euro for a Heineken can in the lobby, 4 euro??? How can you charge 4 euro for a take away beer? Broken mini golf course. The power went off in our room as we got into bed. The pleather chair in the room is horrible, all cracked and faded, just replace it! They aren't double beds, they're 2 singles pushed together and they split apart during your sleep so you roll into the crack. It's not very welcoming when your arrive. Theres no explanation of the grounds, what you can do, where you can go or how to hire their bikes etc. The breakfast buffet is OK. Restaurant looks nice but it's so over priced. Paid 30 euro for a tiny piece of entrecote and an undercooked potato???? I wouldn't rush to come back here.
The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Good value.
Wanted to have 2 family members who live nearby join for breakfast (requested afternoon prior. we would pay, of course). Front desk lady was curt and said not possible based on scheduled guest volume. But, at breakfast we found the dining area with plenty of room. Indeed, the hotel did not seem fully booked. Would it really have been a big deal to add 2 people? Why did you have to make us feel like you enjoyed saying no to a reasonable request?
Feeling in the middle of nature. Structure and stuff are well done. Care about details.
To add something more to play for children.
Pool nice when warm outsideGarden with some benches Rooms updated and beds okCoffee/tea making facilities in the roomLots of parking space
Wanted a room with terrace but not allowed with dogsDogs only in lowest category allowed. Thats a pity.Bathroom no heating or proper ventilation
