    Pros +

    • The restaurant staff/waitresses were great, the food was good (dinner good, breakfast ok);The bar looked lovely and cozy but unfortunately was closed each night we were there.
    • Friendly staff
    • Spacious and comfortable. A really good breakfast in the morning. It is a bit out of the way, but the quiet location makes up for that. The staff were nice, but could have been a little bit more "switched on." Considering it is Holland it was good value for money.

    Cons -

    • The rooms were small cramped and a little on the dingy, warn out/ old side. Bathrooms tiny and having the sink in the room was very inconvenient.
    • The rooms looked like they last were decorated in the 70s. Very old carpets. We slept ok, but if you are allergic to dust mites, you might struggle.
    • The car park is about 100 metres away. There was a whiff of cigarette smoke in the corridors. And even though the staff were very nice, they were a little confused and slow at times.

    Location suited my needs perfectly

The room was not air-conditioned and rather hot. Outside temperature exceeded 25°C.The drain of the shower was not working properly, turning the shower in a swimming pool. These things should be noticed by the cleaning staff and fixed immediately as it gives a smudgy impression. It is okay to hire non-Dutch speaking staff, but please make sure they are fluent in English if they have to face customers. No response at all on questions asked in the app.

Great location in the middle of the woods. Very nice staff. Hotel is beautiful but rooms a little dated.

nice location of the hotel if you like nature. Hotel would need to get some renovation but all was quite clean and breakfast was good quality. We found this place as a good location of our Harderwijk Dolfinarium visit.

Some renovation investment would be needed, otherwise no issue.

Excellent location for outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, horse back, wild life spotting) in the Veluwe. Also close enough to the Kröller Müller museum.

Hotel is pretty basic and looks dated (1960's), restaurant closes at 7PM, Lobby not manned after 5PM

    LocationNot much else

Bathroom facilities ... TINY combined shower toilet. Basin in room.

Nice quiet location. Laid back atmosphere, and nice restaurant/ garden / lounge area. Cycle storage and charging facilities. Good breakfast.

Some areas of the hotel look dated and tired. The restaurant meal I had was poor. Inadequate fence around bike storage area.

location in the middle of the forest is beautiful.

Whole place is slightly dated, perfectly serviceable but has seen better days.

    Very beautiful location.

So much potential. But very old and needs to get refreshed. Poor food unfortunately. Pictures didnt match.

In the middle of nowwhere but exactly what I expected, just great. Seen the prices, the status of the rooms was pretty old, not quite what I expected. everyone freaked out about the breakfast, i found i Okay, but not so great seen the price

My room looked a bit like the one straight from a mr bean movie... having a sink next to your bed is pretty oldschool right?

    Good bed!

Carpet floor, that doesn't smells good!

    6DorolenkoPosted on: 7-7-2024

The kindness of the staff is top notch. In all other aspects very outdated place, felt like I was in the past.
