Hotel Torre del Mar - Ibiza

Breakfast was delicious with many options. Room was very clean with great view of ocean. Staff was friendly. Pool and pool bar service was top notch.

It took awhile to get our bags brought to our room. The only other thing is that on the city side, it was very noisy. Hard to sleep if you had the windows open. Would get an ocean veiw next time!!!

Very clean rooms and facilities. Great pool. Great restaurant with breakfast buffet. Excellent location, 20 minute walk to Ibiza town in one direction or the big clubs in the other direction.

Reception lost my 5-gallon water bottle, claiming they had left it in another room. Instead of fixing their mistake, all I was told was, ‘sorry, we lost it,’ which shows a lack of responsibility and customer care.

Let's start by saying that the location of the hotel is a good location, you are 20 mins walk from lots of places to eat and about 40 mins walk to the old city. The room was very clean, the staff were nice and friendly, the view from the room was beautiful (we had sea view), the bed was very comfortable and very large. The pool had a good vibe and music.

Well, there were many things that got me super confused on how this hotel is rated at 9.1 and I strongly believe that the hotel should not be anything more than 8.First, the hotel has a pool for free BUT the heated pool you have to pay extra to use it unless it's part of the package which it wasn't for me and they charge €18 per day per person, really?Second, on the first day I arrived I noticed there was no slippers provided so I called the reception to ask for slippers and they told me that they charge for them €5, again, seriously? I understand if you provided me with one and I am asking for extra but to charge for the first one is a bit too ridiculous. Third, the hotel doesn't provide free airport shuttle although other hotels (even 3 star hotels do) and the trip to the airport actually cost less than €20 and it is not about the money but the comfort of having a shuttle waiting for you.Fourth, for about five nights I paid a little bit over €2k and I wasn't provided airport shuttle, slippers and can't even use the full facilities of the hotel and It didn't include breakfast. What did I actually pay for then?

We liked very much the staff, they were kind and very helpful. The room was big enough, very clean and with all amenities. The extra points were given by the balcony with the beautiful sea view. We also tried the breakfast which was abundant and delicious.

Great location. Nice view of the beach and the old town from the pool area. Very nice facilities. Hot water in shower was great! It was walking distance from shops and nice eating spots.

Pool was too cold and the jacuzzi in the spa not very hot.

The music is extremely loud around the pool which is fine later in the day but too much at 10 in the morning, also try a bit of lounge music it’s much more relaxing

There was a bit of a smell in our room. The restaurant was a bit pricey.

The access to the outdoor area was closed on Sunday morning until 9:30 am. It would be a great idea to allow access to the pool as of the sunrise even if without the pool itself which can ve closed no problem but at least sitting out there watching the sunrise is something the guest should be able to do at anytime. breakfasts and dinners were absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly as well. There was a young lady, at the information desk at the hotel, who provided me with a very good guidance regarding the places worth visiting and even she booked tickets for me for a tour around the coastal line and sightseeing inside the island with a group of people, therefore; it helped me to save some time looking for the information. Instead I could make the most of my short stay there!

We booked the Penthouse and Deluxe Suite - both with terraces and hot tubs. Absolutely fantastic! View spectacular. Nice touch to get a daily free refill of cava or beer - although it didn't turn up on our last day. Free parking was appreciated.

The reception and ground floor has a strong smell of chlorine from the spa. Check in was slow.

Lovely location, we were out of season travellers and it was perfect for easy access to Playa den Bossa, ses figueretes, Ibiza Old town and port all within 20,30, 40 mins walk and much quicker in taxi. Lovely location. Food in hotel was good rooms were clean and cleaned daily, water was replenished daily in fridge too. We upgraded to a sea view. And it was well worth it. Staff were absolutely amazing.
