Hotel Avenida del Sotillo

A super market is front of the hotel, this is good for us because we are vegan so we can buy some food from there.

The Wi-fi was very weak, just like many guests mentioned in the reviews. I didn't check them carefully before booking. If I had known, I wouldn't have stayed here. The rest of the stay was okay, but reliable internet is important to us.

Very friendly, busy hotel.We felt at home from minute one. The heating was great and the shower/bathroom spacious.Loads of parking in the actual hotel and close by. Great cafeteria too!

The bathroom was stinking the whole time. We had to buy a room fresher to be able to sleep, even then the bathroom was stinking. The walls are paper thin and everything happening the next room can be heard. It was cheap but I would not prefer the stay here the next time even if offered for free.

It was clean But bath tub needs a little bleach

Helpful staff. We booked the hotel last minute while travelling and were not going to make it to destination before the latest check in time. We contacted the hotel and they arranged an online check in and left the key is a safe box for us.

There was air conditioning but it wasn't very effective, so the room was a bit warm. The mattresses on the beds were also a bit thin and hard.

The price. Segovia is really expensive. The restaurant downstairs was convenient.

The air conditioning made a terrible noise, but without it, it was too hot to sleep.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location for exploring the beautiful Segovia, which is only a 15 minute walk away.The young lady checking us in was so helpful and informative and went out of her way to find a map and explain the area to us.The bar attached to the hotel had a lovely authentic atmosphere, the wine was reasonable and the tapas were amazing!Plenty of car parking and we felt safe.

If you e got a dog, there’s not much choice but make it brief here

Very poor quality hotel. Only reason we stayed here was that all hotels in Segovia don’t allow dog and this was the closest and only one. The beds smelled of sick, towels were old and like paper.

We stay for 1 night and the experience was great. Very nice and welcoming people . The room clean and beds comfortable. The cafeteria was a plus. We will go back in a heart beat.

- Water leaked from the bathroom ceiling during the night. The bathroom was flooded, the toilet was wet with yellowish water, in addition to the water running over the shower. It was necessary to wait more than an hour for bathing conditions to be available;- There is no 24-hour reception and a telephone available for support;- This hotel is NOT pet friendly, they charged us 10 euros for each dog (we have 2), this represents a 50% increase on the daily rate;- The walls in the rooms are very thin, you could hear everything from the neighboring rooms and upstairs, from arguments between couples to sex.

The hotel is comfortably situated at one of the main avenues leading to Segovia. It has a bar and restaurant . Bar service is excellent.

Everything was fine. Nothing to point out.

Price for our 2 small dogs was 20€ (2× 10€each). This was 'conveniently' not visible on booking.com website. I prefer transparency.

The bar staff were excellent, especially Dorothy. The parking wasw great.

There were many red and orange stains on the bed sheets as well as the towels who were supposed to be freshly clean when we arrived. We had to sleep on top of the bed without covering ourselves.

It has free onsite parking and a very convenient restaurant serving all day. . Very friendly and helpful front desk staff.

Heavy smokers allowed to smoke in front of reception area.

Location near to the city and supermarkets.....restaurant was very good ....and value for money.

It was just 3 blocks away from a bus stop that takes you to the acueduct and free parking. Driving in segovia is very complicated, narrow old streets full of tourists and no parking in stuff. so it was very convenient.

I was expecting a basic hotel for the price, but I had never seen pillows as uncomfortable as these ones. Literally like sleeping on the curb of the road. The stuffed of a brick.

Lovely welcome and very helpful receptionist. Easy parking at hotel carpark, behind building. Was a bit of a walk to the viaduct. Great spot for visiting the aqueduct, castle and church
