Hotel Adam Trutnov

I went with my father and look in the last minute for a place to stay. The room was very well organized and very clean. Bed was very comfortable as well. Stuff was amazing and breakfast was my favorite.I don’t have any complain and like to come back.

The location was perfect. The room was spacious and clean/comfortable. Was walking distance to the bus/train station. Near restaurants and right in the square. We needed to wash clothes and they had a wonderful laundry service that got our clothes cleaned and folded back to us within 24 hours. Breakfast was buffet style with typical cold cuts/bread/eggs/bacon as well as coffee machine and juice.

The town is beautiful and the hotel is located in the centre. The property is perfectly maintained, clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is well recommended.

Great location, nice building interiors, pretty and cozy and quiet room.Good shower, all the basic amenities were in place, appreciated the complimentary bottles of water and presence of a fridge in the room. Appreciated a possibility to sit in a separate "salónek" with dogs during the breakfast.It is convenient the hotel has 2 exits - to the parking lot and to the old town part.

No possibility to regulate the heating system in the bathroom (so the bathroom itself and also the entrance hall in the room felt a bit like a sauna :)), managed that by closing the door to the bedroom.Very modest breakfast options, could be improved.

The hotel is located quite central, close to square & other town facilities.

One receptionist was very pleasant at our check-in.

First and foremost this place is truly pet friendly. Hotel is very nice, in the heart of Trutnov. Inside you will find, historical, unique old fashioned style. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Car Park is for free and it’s located in the back of the building. Room was very clean, well equipped with comfy bed. Breakfast was very good, with broad variety of fresh products. Frankly everything was great. I spent 3 nights here, with my wife and our dog and I would definitely recommend to stay at this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice place in this part of Czech Republic, especially to those who are travelling with their pets.

Couldn’t find any English Channel

Very nice cosy hotel by the market square, clean and comfortable with helpful staff and a breakfast that's fresh with quality ingredients.

Nothing, it's a place well run with good standards, many other hotels can learn from such a place.

Centrally located, quick check-in, very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet had many options, nothing to complain. Interesting pictures of historic Trutnov along the corridors, some people may find it outdated, I liked it.

The layout of the twin room was rather strange, as it was a narrow room with two beds aligned along each other. That could have been better.

Old magic

Ideally located in the centre of town. The receptionist was very welcoming and found us a very good place to secure our bikes for the night. We had a large comfortable room which was away from the busy street. The breakfast was good.

The hotel is situated right in the middle of Trutnov and is in easy walking distance of the main sights. The hotel is very atmospheric and has a romantic feel to it. The receptionist was very helpful.

The rooms were fine, but the one at the front was very noisy due to traffic in the early morning and people in the street in the late evening. However, there is little that the hotel can do about that. The breakfast was good, but by the time that we got down for breakfast, many of the hot items were lukewarm.

Hotel was close to downtown square. It offered breakfast.

Refrigerator was broken and didn’t cool our food. It was 35C and hotel had no ice or cold beverages to purchase. We had to drink warm tap water. We asked maintenance man to check and he said it’s normal. Our room was very hot and they had no A/C or fan. When we opened the window our room flooded with cigarette smoke from smokers below. They gave us 1 set of 3 towels per person for our entire stay. They didn’t clean the room or exchanged the towels during our stay. We were there for 5 days. Room was dirty. You can totally see where vacuum doesn’t fit. Dust is accumulating in corners and between furniture. Kitchen had plates and mugs but no silverware or dish soap to wash dishes. All our food spoiled. Key is needed for electricity so if one wants to go out and needs the key to get in the other person inside can NOT have electricity. Breakfast was from 7:30 till 9:30am. By 8:30am there was no food. Every day it’s same and last day coffee machine was broken or out of coffee. They didn’t bother to make a pitcher of coffee. Hotel is old and lots of things are broken. Dirty cleaning towels are left in hallways for days. You can hear other guests snoring pretty loud. They charge $150/night and provide $50/night service. We were not happy with this hotel and wouldn’t recommend it.

Pleasant

This hotel has 4 stars, but reality it must have just 2 stars maximum. Our room was not clean well, windows of rooms located to busy street, in the room there was no air conditioner. So in the summer we must open windows, because of hot room, and than you can not sleep well of car noise. Breakfast was weak, less choice of food. And the price was to big for this quality of hotel. I'm not recommended this hotel.

Perfect localization, close to the city park, restaurants and shops. Cosy room.

The hotel is located in the central of Trutnov.

The personal that worked during the breakfast hours, took strawberry from the breakfast table with their fingers. This is totally unacceptable. If the personal wants something from the breakfast table, they must learn to use spoon, forks and plates.

Hotel adam is perfectly placed by the town Square. The staff are friendly the hotel is very clean. Perfect for a short stay.
