Amazing classic styling. There?s a ton of history in this hotel. Location is perfect for exploring Bydgoszcz.

The room was older, and did not have some amenities. But in its place you got a very classical experience.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous food and drinks. We don’t speak Polish and the staff were most accommodating speaking English where possible, and very helpful to us. The food is really lovely and so many breakfast options and choices. It’s central so easy access to tram and bus routes. We could bus from the airport and back, walk and tram ourselves around, and good value for money.

breakfast was superb and so good that i was surprised about it. Room was quite ok although its best days are already over. The building itself has some history attached to it and the location - ideal! Not to far (literally next door) there is great coffee spot with super fresh brewed coffee - worth visiting!

rooms could be refreshed. It looks like the good days are long time gone. With some carpet and furnitures refresh this could be the bingo match for the city spots.

The food at the hotel was delicious, and the service was top-notch. The housekeeping staff were very helpful. We did have one unpleasant situation with a neighbor in the next room who was extremely loud all night, so we didn’t get any sleep. A gentleman at reception moved us to another room (on a different floor, in a completely different part of the hotel), and we really appreciate that.The staircase was beautiful, and the interiors overall were stunning.

It wasn’t bright enough in the room — there were many bedside lamps, but no main ceiling light, which was sometimes inconvenient. But that’s just a small detail.There were no wall-mounted towel hooks in the bathroom, which should have been provided.

Well located hotel, with impressive period features, but needs refurbishment. Good value for money.

Conditions of room

The location was perfect. I have been to Bydgoszcz a few times for work, but this is my first stay at this hotel. It was very close to the main square which I am familiar with but also allowed me to explore the old city as well.

Breakfast is too late for my work schedule.

Quiet elegance, yet friendly atmosphere. Kept remarkably clean, even complex fixtures like chandeliers were spotless. Everything was well-maintained and in perfect working order (lights, lifts, doors, plug points, hair dryer, etc). Excellent wifi and breakfast. Respectful and efficient housekeeping staff. Strategically situated between the area of Art Nouveau buildings and the Old Town. Tram stop right outside, grocery stores and pharmacy just opposite the street. I recommend this hotel highly, and will definitely stay here if I visit Bydgoszcz again.

Splendid building in a very convenient location (close to both the city center and the train station). Our room was very big, with very comfortable beds. Very good value for money.

The bathroom could be renovated: you can see it's a bit old and the shower may be better. However, it was just a tiny drawback. No available sockets close to the bed.

Great location and convenient parking. The breakfast was excellent - definitely the highlight of the stay.

The room felt quite dated. The carpet was dirty, some wallpaper was peeling, and the lighting was very dim. There was only one power outlet, and the room was very cold.

Perfect location for the Christmas markets. This charming, historic hotel has charachter and is beautifully decorated, clean, has great staff and fabulous food. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The only thing I would change was a tv that had English channels or the ability to change the language. Just for background noise

Great location, within short walking distance to tram stops, city centre, historic core. Entry to hotel gives the "wow" factor (lots of character), we arrived early and availability of our room was expedited which was appreciated.Room was comfy (had to request extra pillows - personal preference)Breakfast was good (good range on offer)Room cleaners were helpful when we wanted to change type of water and teabags available in the room

One of the windows wouldn't seal properly so had to place curtains to prevent draft

The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable, and the breakfasts was great.Excellent location near the center and about 1Km from the railway station.

The bathroom was small and the vent very noisy.We have asked a garden view from our room but the hotel didn't provided it.At the first night there was a party in the hotel and it was a lot of noise till 2 AM.
