City Hotel

I really liked the location of the hotel, facilities and near by car parking. Breakfast was excellent - I really enjoyed the smoothies.

There was no main light in the room, just lamps

Was in a good location to explore the city. Suggestions were given by hotel staff on places to eat and visit Also had a meal in the hotel restaurant, food and service was excellent

The hotel is only a short walk to Old Town and 3 shopping malls. My room was very nice and comfortable - with one exception noted next. Breakfast is a very large spread of options with very attentive staff. If you go at 0700 you will likely be surrounded by military - not a bad thing - but it is very busy until around 0720.

Not the hotel's fault but to walk most places you can't cross the streets at the large intersection by the hotel. You need to use the underground pedestrian paths. Great idea but sometimes there are small groups of people drinking and making noise. I had no issues but just be aware. My whole stay was great with the exception of my last night. Just before I left for dinner at 1830 loud music started up from somewhere beneath my room. When I left the hotel a lot of young people all dressed up nice were around the lobby so it was some form of event. It was still going at 2200 when I returned. AND went on until 0300! I had to get up at 0600!. When I commented at checkout the staff said he was not on duty last night and was sorry for my discomfort. - Two issues with this: A loud event like this in a place where people pay to spend the night while travelling for sleeping and that the hotel knew this was booked this night during my stay and could have warned me about it in advance - possibly asking if I wanted a different room for my last night there. I'm sure one of the party guests would have loved my room after 0300.

Staff is very helpful, let me check in early after arriving from the airport. Location is very good 15 mins stroll to Rynek and on the bus route to the airport and easy to get a tram to train station.

Bathroom could be cleaned a little better.

The room overall was good for a short stay. Clean, with tea/coffee, and with a bath.Access to drinking water in the corridor is a plus.

Unfortunately, the room had a noticeable smell of tobacco, which was not very pleasant.

Lacked extractor fan in bathroom which caused condensation

There plenty of choices for breakfast and something for everyone. A large buffet type selection which was being replenished regularly.

When booking through booking.com we were booking a room a two adults and 6 year old child. The room which was selected was not really suitable as no bed was provided for our daughter, she was expected to share our double bed. surely when booking for two adults and a 6 year old child we should only be offered rooms that have the space for or have enough beds for all occupants. This was not made clear upon booking, fortunately we have call the hotel prior to our stay and this was discovered then, we then had to pay for an upgraded room to allow for an additional bed to be supplied.

Great location. Close to city centre. Very quiet. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Good food.

The staff was really very polite and helpful. They were so kind to allow me to stay longer than required, due to my health issues. I am really grateful for this.

Central Position clean and very gentle staff.

It is an inviting hotel only a short walk from the old town along the river. The building is somewhat worn by time, but still offers comfortable rooms with sturdy beds and a sitting area. There is available parking if arriving by car, and considering there is a whole parking garage available its not likely to become full. The breakfast is also quite extensive with many different dishes and general variety.

Minor details, but the ventilation in the bathroom is not good. After showering there is a layer of moist on everything inside the bathroom for a long time which is inconvenient. Also the breakfast personnel struggled to keep up with the many guests and at some point many of the serving trays were empty.

Family room is the smallest we have ever seen and we travel a lot. Kids could not move around in such small space. So this really negatively affected our experience.

It was a good experience. The room is clean and tidy. There is a hairdryer and slippers in a room. In the hallway you can find a cooler with filtered water. There are many pictures of the city's landmarks on the walls of the hallway - very nice))

Location was perfect for us as its centrally located from the main city center and old town .Focus Mall is just walking distance and so are all modes of transport available easily

The room size was on point, the staff was very friendly, there is access to drinking water 24/7, the location was great. They left food bowls for our dog.

The Hotel charges 60zl for 24h parking which is too much. The bed matterass had seen better days and in general was not comfortable.

staff incredibly friendly, all of them, we were even served outside working hours with a big smile by Miss Hania and the rest of the staff followed her steps.

old furniture, hot with no a/c and no beds are not comfortable. Everything else made it up for me and the whole stay turned a lovely one!

As regular guests of this hotel, we continue to be pleased with its facilities, its convenient location for town centre, 2 shopping galleries and the airport. Rooms are spacious, light and have a comfortable double bed.

The glass shower screen alongside the bath (no separate shower cubicle) is quite short so it is always likely that the bathroom floor gets splashed when using the shower. Otherwise, no complaints at all.
