Hotel Gavitu

Super clean, wonderful towels and linens, comfy bed. Reception staff were wonderful, very accommodating for a non-Spanish speaking guest. Bike storage was good, as was space in the room. Breakfast was simply great - much wider variety of foods than typical, and delicious.

The only change I’d support is some snack foods from the bar when it’s open for drinks.

Nothing. Front desk staff are rude and did not try to accommodate my room preferences. Hotel is dark with very basic accommodations, no views, no bar or restaurant at night. Not a good value.

Front desk staff gave me a ground floor room. When I asked for a room upstairs, she told me there were not any available. I was given Room #1 which was directly off the lobby. The room also had a handicapped equipped bathroom. When I asked for a room with a bath tub and further down the hall, she LIED and said the hotel was full. The hotel was very quiet and only had 1 car in parking lot. When I checked Booking.com, they showed 3 rooms available to book that night. I was not offered a different room and was told I was assigned that room and it could not be changed. The shower flooded the bathroom because there is no enclosure or raised step to keep the water inside.I travel 6-7 months of the year and have never encountered such uncaring and rude staff (3 women). There was no attempt to show me another room or even apologize for giving me the worst room in the hotel.

Wonderful room. Property was very clean and well managed. Staff was friendly.

Very well decorated. It had a bathtub too! It has an elevator and a place to charge my electric bike. Breakfast was great and there's a dinner/bar (la cena is at 8 in Spain) place 5 minutes away.

Friendly, very welcoming,clean, just beautiful garden and outdoor relaxing areas. Great breakfast, fruit, pastries, toast, ceral. Teas and coffees. Beach just down the road with restaurants and bar within a few minutes walk.

Don't use Satnav. took us ages to find, follow yellow signs for the hotel. Carpark at rear of hotel . Streets very narrow to drive.

Great hotel, friendly, professional staff, covered bike storage, lovely room with beautiful bathroom, easy access to railway station, quiet location. Great bar, nice breakfast.

The room with two floors

Minimal breakfast.just sweet and fruit. And serviced.you have ti asl for averything you want to eat.

In general the hotel was good. The hotel has its own large and convenient parking. Beautiful area of ​​the hotel with cozy tables to relax. Located relatively close to the beach. Delicious breakfasts are included in the price.

Very bad Internet. The staff did not speak English, my Spanish is not very good and there were some communication difficulties.

Nothing special, but comfortable enough for one night stay on El Camino. We arrived four hours early and there wasn’t any problem with check in (but we also had a reservation).

I was the only guest at the hotel and was given the worst room on the ground floor with view over the asphalt parking lot. the location was horrible and not near any restaurant or supermarket. the room had old interior and was not very clean, and I felt like I was sleeping in a haunted house :(

Nice, comfortable hotel with nice breakfast close to beach and Camino. Great choice if you are staying in Celorio.

Clean, confortable beds, our family of 4 got entire 2-floor style apartment, witin 8 min walk from Playa de las Camaras whixh is smaller and queter and much less crouded beach than Borizu

Nothing. But Google Maps amd Waze give wrong locations, so follow the yellow road signs
