Great location, good breakfast, lovely room, very friendly staff, good communication, great restaurant and bar

The staff were very nice

The floor in our room was sandy and not clean. The nightstand was dirty and the bathroom floor and ceiling had mold. It is next to the beach so I understand that it’s hard to keep the mold away but it was unacceptable.

There was nothing to dislike about the property. The beach front location was lovely.The room was great.However, I wasn't aware the location was so far out of Llandres. This was my error in my research, as we had a car and wasn't looking as closely at the location.

This hotel was amazing 20 years ago. It has been extended and modernised since then but still has an amazing friendly feel the view is really special. A small bay with rock formations toward the sea.shallow and safe for children. The food was really good but 21.00 hrs is too late for me to eat . Menu del dia was really good.

It’s stunning beach location and being only a short motorise to the Picos de Europa.

There’s no secure parking for the motorcycle but owing to its location I didn’t really find it an issue.

The location of this hotel right on the beach of Playa de Barro is really fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are cleaned well every day.

Everything was fine I have no complaints.

The beach is right outside the hotel and a good size carpark.

The restaurant didn't open till 9 and not many places close by for food that were serving before 9

No kettle/ tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there was a cafe downstairs

TOWEL HIRE WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD,OTHER HOTELS IN VILLAGE OFFER THIS SERVICE,WE WERE ON MOTORCYCLES,SO WE DO NOT TRAVEL WITH TOWELS

The location is excellent and my room overlooked the beach

I hated the dirty looking tank in reception which had alive claw-taped lobster ? ?.

Food was very poor - Breakfast very end of season. poor selection. Restaurant in evening - first night was a shocker and second night better. Did not dare try the a la carte

The hotel is in a good position overlooking the beach although there is a large public car front directly in front somewhat spoiling the view. The room had a large balcony.

Most aspects of our stay. On entering the room there was a musty smell like some charity shops. The staff in the main were brusque and unsuitably dressed especially for reception. The public car park was very crowded and we were told to park in the hotel's private space. A 'no entry' sign was displayed at the entrance and also by some spaces within. Assuming this was to stop the general public from using guests' spaces we parked as directed and went for lunch at the cafe. We were interrupted by the receptionist, told we were not allowed there but to go to the field beyond over a difficult step which would have damaged the underside of our car. There was evidence of cars having previously hit the concrete slabs in the centre. See photo's. The whole episode could have been handled in a far better way. Signage and a proper ramp would help.It was indicated that lunch service at the cafe closed at 4pm but at 3pm there was little choice. Dinner commencing at 9pm was far too late.A double bed was requested, we were given two singles pushed together. The shower water was luke warm.

I loved the location It’s right on the beach. We had a room with a balcony.

It’s not that I didn’t like it. I loved the peace and quiet but for some it’s a bit quiet.

On the beach location is fabulous. Midday checkout is great.

Worst breakfast coffee we had in Spain.Security was poor - Reception gave another couple the same room, so they just walked in on us.Rooms were great quality, but ours had a door to an adjoining room and soundproofing was very poor.

lovely hotel right on the beach, we have a room on the second floor with balcony and a sea view.nice restaurant, good service and friendly staff.Safe parking for motorbikes.
