The location.

We absolutely LOVED this place! We were looking for a little place to getaway that was quiet. It was so great to stay here--staff were really nice and the place pleasantly surprised us! It had a beautiful view of the Basque countryside and the ocean in the distance. Absolutely stunning! We had a large balcony with 180 views. Breakfast was great--help yourself. They also had portions of fresh food that you could purchase and heat for dinner the night before, but we had plans already, but would've taken advantage of that so we wouldn't of had to leave. Normally we stay in Getaria, but we definitely loved this place--especially the view off then patio where we ate our breakfast! We will be back!!

View and location are hard to gauge from the photos, and the reality is much better! Super nice staff and common area with honour bar and the best views!

The shower taps should be changed. It was very difficult to use them and get warm water. Room nr 8

Super nice property on Getaria outskirts run by lovely people. Beautiful views from room 10 where there’s a bubble bath.

Small cosy hotel run by 2 friendly sisters. Love the homely environment with sofas, dining tables and kitchen with glasses, plates, cutlery where you can have your own meals. Lovely view of the rolling hills and vineyards, and the sea. Wish we had stayed longer so we can do more hikes around the place.

Distance from town, but we had a car so it was fine.

This is a lovely small hotel. Gorgeous views. Very nice rooms and common area. Friendly staff.

What wasn’t to love about the property? The view from our room was outstanding. The vineyard, the ocean and lighthouse in the distance, just stunning. On top of just the view, the homemade breakfast every morning for an incredibly reasonable price. Fresh squeeze orange juice every day. Fresh cappuccino or espresso when you want them. And the self service bar and snacks area was a nice detail that helped make our stay feel like we were at home.

Fantastic view, first class service and homely atmosphere; the self-service evening bar and buffet was a big plus. Outstanding breakfast.

We were welcomed at 8:30pm by a charming receptionist and a self service kitchen with drinks and food. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served on a large patio with a view of the sea.

We had difficulty operating the hot water for the shower but that may have been our ignorance

I loved the tranquil location in the country and the views from the room and restaurant terrace.Very friendly and helpful people.Lovely room and bathroom. Simple, tasteful and luxurious at the same time.I liked the DIY ‘help yourself’ kitchen. I like the trust writing down what you take from the kitchen which is then added to the bill. That may seem a trivial point but there’s something appealing about this in this day and age!I would definitely stay again.

There’s no restaurant for an evening meal. In some ways, it would have been nice to have someone prep a hot meal after a day of travelling. But it’s a minor point and I knew this at the time of booking. And per the positive comments, the help yourself kitchen has its own charm.

Nothing, it was perfect!

Great views. Very trusting- we helped ourselves to drinks and food from the kitchen and wrote a chatty for each.

It would have been good if there had been a restaurant service but I guess there is always a shortage of staff these days

The property and location were excellent. Immaculately cared for, very relaxed and comfortable.The staff, mainly family, are very attentive, but never intrusive.

Noisy dogs barking all night at nearby farm. Not really any fault of the hotel but it was annoying in such a quiet location.
