- The location was excellent. Canfranc-Estacion is a pleasant small town with the historic train station, now a hotel, as centerpiece. There are many trails leading out from town or a short drive away. Our room had a view of the neighboring peaks, and was on the top floor (there's an elevator) so very quiet. The hotel also has a pool which was a big bonus after a hot hike. Breakfast was substantial with lots of choices. Dinner Saturday was very good, but on Sunday very disappointing.

- Very clean room given the age of the property. Bar and restaurant were good and a special mention to the bar man who was very friendly and helpful. Great location opposite the impressive railway station. Value for money you can't really can't complain.
Cons -
- The double bed was lumpy, and the hotel dinner Sunday was not good.
- Pool was freezing cold but we were there in September so maybe it's only heated in winter?
- Nothing really to moan about

Great location, very clean rooms. A good value hotel, we didn’t eat at the hotel, but stopped and had a few drinks from the bar and sat outside with our dogs, which was very nice.
Need fans in the rooms.
Helpful staff. Nice bar. Good restaurant and helpful staff.
Just a short walk from the bus stop.I arrived very early due to bus time, but was able to check in as my room was ready. The food was enjoyable. Breakfast was buffet style and dinner was 4 course with multiple choices. The hotel is right across from the old train station and very close to many different trails for hiking.
Good value priced hotel across the street from the train station. Breakfast also a good value for 7€, although I do wish that hot eggs were on the menu (hard boiled were offered). Good place to explore the town from. Lots of free public parking right across the street. Good for one night.
The only negative - no ac, very hard to cool the room.
If you're planning to go skiing or hiking in nature, this location is perfect. There is plenty of parking space available. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They provide numerous board games at the reception and there are two pool tables for rainy days. The breakfast was enjoyable, featuring a delicious Spanish omelette. The only thing I missed was scrambled eggs, but considering the cost of only 7 euros per person, I believe it is more than worth it. Additionally, they offer a delightful dinner menu with several options for starters, mains, and desserts.
Even though the ground floor is nicely refurbished and decorated with really nice taste, the rooms feel a bit outdated, and the pillow was too high and hard for my liking. Similarly, while they provide a spare blanket in a cupboard in the bedroom, I would suggest adding a spare pillow that is less firm and flatter, catering to guests like myself. The mattresses are okay and the cleaning was also good.
location and all
bar great room great can not fault
The hotel is well located with its swimming pool during summer. Rooms are spacious and the hotel offers many commodities.
There literally now acoustic isolation which is making it impossible to properly sleep as there is constant noise from your neighbours going to toilets, taking showers, moving things in their rooms,… a potential quick win could be to add isolation on the ceiling of the rooms.Beds are quite hard as pillows.
A useful stop over on route to the UK. The beds were comfortable and the shower was okay.We arrived late and left early so difficult to say anymore.
The room was looking dated
Location in the village was excellent.
The hotel was dog friendly, but the dog was not allowed into the dining area so we were not able to have breakfast easily. Either be dog friendly or not, don't just pretend to be. The whole village was anti-dog so eating dinner was also very difficult. Very different to the south of Spain and France.
Bathroom good. Parking was readily available across the street from hotel.. Room dated but adequate
Dinner was OK, best to take your time and look at offerings as some dishes are not as expected. Portion size quite small.
Clean, convenient, very good price for value
The rooms need soundproofing. Could hear everything happening in neighboring room.
