Pros +
- Clean, modern and comfortable. Food was very tasty recommend the sampler of Arctic char as a starter. Salmon was good, fries a bit over done and too crispy but that¿s ok. Included breakfast plentiful and very tasty. Close to ferry and beautiful Dynjandi
- Good sized room, friendly staff, good breakfast.Dining room experience was good, food was delicious and attentive staff.
- Friendly staff, nice room with TV and bathrobes, attached restaurant with bar
Cons -
- Side note: the nearby recommended natural thermal bath was very overcrowded by campers of whom some where glad to take a bath after couple of days not showering or cleaning up which was a hygiene concern. But this is not the fault of the hotel at all.
- Need some place to storage suitcases to get them off the floor
- The room was way too small for 2 people. We had to walk sideways to get in the bed.

Wonderful, helpful staff. Very friendly. Food was great. I especially loved the local char.Great hikes around property. Breakfast room had great views and we enjoyed watching the sheep . Worth the drive.
Breakfast was very good. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but small. Difficult to get in and out of bed.
Everything was clean and comfortable.
The room was way too small for 2 people. We had to walk sideways to get in the bed.
The staff was really nice. The room was very clean and the food was excellent.
I was a little bummed that there was not any type of grocery store or even a convenience store close by it was like an hour drive at least
Room in newer section of hotel was good sized and very nice. Staff were very friendly. Location is great to get to wonderful Dynjandi waterfall.
Not much else to do in the area besides the worthwhile Dynjandi waterfall. It is a stopping point on the way to Isafjordur, but worth spending at least one night to see Dynjandi if the weather is bad on one of the two days you are there. I am not a fan of the single cover on a bed. It is easy to get too hot. I prefer a sheet and a blanket.
Nicely renovated and clean. One of the nicer hotels in the Westfjords, and conveniently located next to an N1 gas station.
Beware of check in times. The staff for check in is the same as the restaurant, so if the restaurant is busy, there will be no staff to check you in.
Modern and spacious room. Nice location near the sea and a creek. Good restaurant on site. Convenient.
The room was a good size. Beds & pillows were comfortable. I like the nightlight for each side of bed. They supplied robes which you can take along if you go to Hellalug, which is walkable or 5 minutes away. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, homemade bread, sliced meats & cheeses, skyr and more!
Not so expensive but with "luxus hotel wibe", good breakfast, very tasty pizza you can buy for dinner. Also they have the tank station near the hotel. Ideal place if you are traveling around east half-island
Hellulaug hot springs is just a couple of hundred meters away from the hotelBath robe provided Good location On-site restraunt available
Room is rather small
Breakfast was very good; the rooms were very clean and modern and spacious; this was one of my favorite hotel stays in Iceland. The dinner that the hotel offers is excellent- I very much enjoyed the arctic char offered.
Very comfortable and spacious rooms! Loved the views and the breakfast, although small, was a good start to the day.
Clean,big, good breakfast
The breakfast was really good. The rooms were fine just quite small
You could hear the person in the room next you snoring.
The location is very good in terms of distances to places of interest. Beautiful and pleasant view.
We were there for two days and they didn't come to tidy up and empty the trash cans in the room.
This was a great property. We enjoyed happy hour, dinner, the gas pump, the ability to wash our vehicle and the room.
Everything was great - there was nothing we didn’t like.
Very friendly staffWonderful breakfast buffetComfortableWe didn’t avail ourselves but the nearby free hot pool is a nice perk.Having a gas station onsite was very convenient.
I use a CPAP at night and there is not a convenient outlet near the bed (had to pull out the bed to access an outlet).
