Ukino Terrace Algarve Concept

The fact that it was an apartment was a plus. It had a fully stocked kitchen, which would have worked well if I had planned to stay for an extended period of time. But as it was, I just needed accommodations for an overnight stay. Reception was beautiful.

Disliked the apartment entirely. Been all over Portugal from Porto to Lisbon to the Algarve over 3 weeks and was the least desirable accommodations. Very dated and unappealing. Would not have stayed more than one night even if I needed a longer stay.

The location is great—just a 7–8 minute walk to the beach, and the pool area was clean and well-maintained, which we appreciated. The apartment size was good, and the balconies of the apartment were also very nice.

The room itself felt quite dated and had an odd smell, likely because of the old furniture and lack of ventilation. The bed linen and bath towels were worn out and had visible yellow stains, which was disappointing.Although we paid for 3 adults, the sleeping arrangement included two single beds and an uncomfortable cot placed in the living room.Toiletries were minimal, just soap and toilet paper. Additionally, we were only given one set of keys for three people, and when we asked for a second set, we were told it required storing my bank card details in their system, which felt excessive.Would recommend for the location and pool, but the accommodation could definitely use some updates and better service policies for the price offered.

A few things wrong with the apt, the blinds kept getting stuck, loose plugs sockets but were sorted as soon as I mentioned it. Bit far out, not very much to do due to location. Ideal for walkers. Early season so pool was freezing.

Breakfast was good and dinner were delitious. We really enjoy it. Great strategic place for travel around the coast. There are 3 beautiful beaches around hotel.

Very clean. Near the beach, friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant.

The WiFi. It was a bit slow in the evening. I couldn't watch TV

There was a cockroach in the kitchen. Apparently they are quite common in the Algarve.

The apartment was very nice, much better than I expected. Got 2 single beds instead of a sofa bed, so was ideal for us. Even had 2 bathrooms.

As we travelled out of peak season, food places were hard to find. Sweet stop, was a life saver

This is a solid place to stay, very close to a few beaches. Nice size apartment, full kitchen, balcony overlooking the huge swimming pool below and the sea also. Very friendly staff.

The kitchen could've had the basics to start something with (salt, sugar, cooking oil, detergent, sponge etc).

The apartment was great with all the facilities. Staffs were very friendly and they helped us to check-in earlier considering our flight time. Great value for money.

Food could have been better. They could have included chicken in their menu which I didn’t find ever during my stay.

It was super close to the beach and the staff in The Sweet Spot were super friendly and attentive

Would have been useful to have been able to use an iron when we just wanted to press a couple of things so didn’t want to wait an hour minimum for laundry service.

The location was alright and the swimming pool was nice

Not great for people with disabilities we called before booking and they said it was okay to book even though they have no lifts , but they would give us an apartment on ground floor and they will promise you a room on ground floor but they don’t really have them and when we got there they didn’t even care to help , my dad had to stay in the apartment every single day for the duration of 5 days due to them not having lifts or rooms on ground floor , which meant he could use the facilities or the all inclusive .

Close to the swimming pool, attached snack cafe good vibes and prices, as self catering apartment. very relaxed reception team helpful and arrange excursion tickets and transport. Nice restaurants within walking distance good quality restaurants , and good prices.

Not able to access wider hotel facilities unless pay for it i.e hotel pools, needed more dec chairs, and would have been nice to be told beach at bottom of our road was'not aware for days!

We liked rooms,location,always something nice to eat,good pool and bar there.

Unfortunately, The manager? at the Sweet Spot cafe .....rude and unprofessional attitude towards allinclusive guests ...clearly only interested in people coming in off the street .For this reason alone ,we would not recommend which is a shame as everything else was good.

The pool was a good size - it was pretty busy but we could usually get sun loungers and there was space to swim. Lovely beaches were only a short walk away. The Sweet Shop offered good basic food. Any issues with the apartment were fixed very quickly. Although the accommodation was basic, it provided good value for money and was comfortable. Definite plus that there was a bath as well as a shower! Lots to do in the area surrounding the hotel.

It was a nuisance having to buy pegs to hang things on the drying line when I couldn’t take them home with me. The description needs to be clearer that there is only a hob (can only use two out of the four rings at any time otherwise it blows the fuses) and a microwave (very old). Some kind of information pack would have been great - for example, if you want to go into Armacao de Pera, there is a land train about 100m walk from the hotel. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Sun loungers (rather than plastic chairs) on the patio/balcony would have been nice. It was a pain to only have two glasses (so we couldn’t drink wine and water at the same time) - there were no wine glasses, just two tumblers. And it was impossible to use the microwave as there were no microwaveable containers. Good that there was a safe in the room but less good that we had to pay a daily charge to use it!
