The place was serene and secluded and only a 15 minute ride from the action. The beach and its view was beautiful. The staff amazing!

My room was not top quality. The shower fixtures were hanging off the wall. There was a soon to be leak situation in the ceiling in the bathroom. I had two spiders in my room the day I arrived. The property is located on lush green property, but if insects are in the room and the windows and doors are shut and the fixtures are hanging it tells me the place needs upgrading, a little. The food was subpar.

Lovely peaceful place, nicely appointed apartment, easy walk to the beach and the coast trail. Also, clean spa area with views outside.

A little more variety in the breakfast buffet would have been nice for longer stays, but it was adequate for a few days.

Location. Superb breakfast. Good amenities. Excellent room size. Accommodative and friendly staff.

The sea view rooms don't have a good sea view. Trees and landscape block the view. They spent a lot of money remodelling the rooms but the management needs to stay in those rooms for a week to see a lot of small issues all around. Bathroom and toilet doors need to be in a push mode and not pull mode. They graze the floor creating sound. At night, in the dark, you can bang your head against it. Doormats need to be provided at the back/balcony as the backyard is muddy. The AC control switch letters are very bright like a nightlight in the dark that you can't dim. We had to put a towel on each of those switches.The electronic switch for room privacy or make up.the room did not work.Electric iron and ironing board should be part of such an expensive room.Only one tiny trash can places next to the toilet. Very inconvenient.

This is a beautiful resort set along the cliffs and ocean’s edge. The amenities are great - beautiful pools, spa and well-equipped workout area. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We wanted a quiet way to finish our vacation and this provided the perfect balance of access to towns with shopping and restaurants and relaxing quiet back at the resort. Breakfasts were excellent.

Room was a little dark and not much space if one of us wanted to get up early. Dinner menu could use more imagination/quality.

Spectacular location. Our wait staff Hugo was incredible for lunch, dinner and pool services.

Road is a bit rough to drive, drive with caution.

I would have liked to have been able to use my apps on the TV or be able to connect wirelessly to it from my computer. This was locked down.

We liked all: location, beach, swimming pool. I saw that some people claimed on the breakfast in the past, but during our stay the breakfast was amazing, maybe they have improved a lot since last time. The hotel has great location; you can walk along the beach side and found some great picture places. The closest beach is fabulous, but small, however, the biggest public one you need to walk to for around 1km. In other case, you can relax next to swimming pools. You can order Uber food there with delivery, you need the car to drive to the closet city with supermarket.

The small pool next to the reasturant was great for the kids to play while we had lunch. The apartment was well equipped. The small beach was perfect next to the hotel with the direct access.

The location is amazing - the cliffs at the beach are just magical. The pools and spa facilities were great. Our apartment was spacious and modern.

Breakfast had limited offers

No availability from the concierges (male ones) to help with luggage and only the ladies were carrying it to help the customers

Location was amazing, peaceful, beautiful nature, nice beach and a fun hike to Praia marinha. The rooms were very good, the pools were lovely.

The restaurant food was not great for the price, and with one or two exceptions (Hugo comes to mind, he was great) the staff was poorly trained. In general it felt like they were all terrified of some management overlord but didn't know how to do the basics of customer service. I think these things were annoying enough that we probably wouldn't stay again.

The room was great, big and clean.

The gym it was not that great.

Great spread -gorgeous pool and dining area. We enjoyed three meals- all good. The interiors are a bit dated - but adequate.

We realized our power was out around 2:30 a m. Everyone was hot - no airco- windows auto locked as they are connected to the electric, so unable to open. Our router was down-so no WiFi to call front desk. When we walked to the office early morning they told us we should have contacted them… they came in our room, opened a random closet and worked with the breakers. Unfortunate. Our WiFi never worked our entire visit.

Amazing location. Quiet, beautiful, remote. Tranquility. Reception staff. Cleanliness and room's design. Not a 5 star hotel but a strong 4 star. It's not a problem if they would fix their restaurant problem.

The restaurant is waaaaay subpar for the location. The breakfast is super varied, but the same every day and the way the eggs are cooked is a disgrace. The menu for dinner is super underwhelming. Prices are high and not worth it. Some of the staff are really trying their best.(Brazilian long haired guy did an amazing job). Some are just cruising. If they fix the restaurant problem, this would be easily a place where I would go on a yearly basis.

The perfect starting point to begin two months in Portugal. Extremely relaxing, quiet rejuvenating.! truly appreciated the morning breakfast team member..wish I would’ve gotten her name…She was always cheery and welcoming. Also Tonya at check in.

Facility, location, great pools and right by the beach

Staff was not trained, place needs some maintenance, safe in room not bolted to the fixture, anyone can take the safe and the belongings inside, hotel is pretty isolated.

There are many pools which are amazing very good specially for families with children you can spend the whole day having fun.

The breakfast was amazing with fresh juices.Our room with a living room was amazing and convenient it has a garden view that you feel at home .
