Pros +
- Location. The property is gorgeous and the beach access is lovely!
- The desk,  made arrangements for my wife's birthday. They had cake and champagne waiting on us. The room was great, the spa is super, would recommend to anyone visiting the aea!!
- Outstanding establishment. Best part of the trip. Anyone going to the country I would tell to spend their entire time at this resort. best kept secret.
Cons -
- The bed was super firm and the pillows were lackluster. There was a frequent waft of cigarette smell entering the room that woke me every time. They are currently doing renovations so I hope those small issues get resolved!
- We had a really enjoyable stay overall — the hotel has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff in general, and great facilities. The three swimming pools are a real highlight, each with plenty of space and well-kept surroundings. That said, a few things could use some attention. The rooms, while comfortable and clean, are starting to feel a little tired and dated — they could definitely do with a refresh. Also, the policy of charging a “delivery fee” just to have ice brought to the room is, frankly, a bit silly and petty for a hotel of this standard.Another odd policy is that only the bar by the Italian restaurant pool is open for drinks — the others stay closed. It seems daft, really, when you’re on holiday and expect to be able to order a drink by any of the pools throughout the day.A special mention should also go to the difference in service between the main restaurant (where breakfast is served) and the Italian restaurant. The contrast couldn’t be more striking. The staff at the main restaurant should really be sent to observe how things are done at the Italian one — there, nothing is too much trouble, and guests are made to feel genuinely welcome. At the main restaurant, however, everything seems like too much effort. On our very first day, when we went for a light lunch after arriving, we were served by the most unhelpful, surly head waiter — not exactly the warm welcome you hope for at the start of your stay.Overall though, it’s a lovely place with lots of potential — a few small changes and better consistency in service would make it truly excellent.

The location, the great staff and the excelent food
All great
Entering the grounds of this hotel feels like stepping into an oasis — a true garden of paradise here on earth. Perhaps this is what heaven looks like. Either way, if you don’t experience staying at this property at least once in your life, you’ll be missing something I would honestly consider life-changing.
The staff was absolutely great. The property was beautiful and well maintained.
Restaurants never seemed very busy, but it was very difficult to get Reservations. The staff was great and the food was very good, but it wasn’t always available.
This place was heaven! They had 3 swimming pools with ocean water. The breakfast was AMAZING!! Best breakfast I have ever have, the fruits were local, fresh and ripe! They even had local honey in the comb.
Nothing I can think of. Place was thoughtfully planned, beautiful gardens, excellent food, nice and warm staff.
Large beautiful rooms, amazing breakfast, incredible staff....just an amazing hotel
Perfectly manicured property, fabulous breakfast, beautiful swimming pools, friendly staff.
I wish the shower room and toilet under the champagne bar was renovated. Poor
Breakfast was amazing!! Other food services: Some of the portions were too small for the price The menus should be expanded a little bit in more options, specially vento wish is the more casual setting and good for children
The grounds were so beautiful, the beach was wonderful. The morning breakfasts were excellent and a great way to start the day. The on-site restaurants were also very good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful overall, an exceptional stay at your location, recommended for anyone.
Facilities, room, beach, breakfast
Necessary to reserve restaurants, which is fine generally, but was a problem for an initial night as we had young children and couldn’t get a reservation until after 9. Suggest they email in advance to request guests do this to avoid disappointment
gorgeous, really special property
a lot of walking - so anyone who doesn’t walk well would have trouble, though they do have golf carts. there was no place to grab a snack or drink to take away - only restaurants.
Beautiful setting, beach was private and picturesque, landscaping was varied and well maintained.
Rooms were just adequate, not well appointed or styled.
The hotel is absolutely stunning, the gardens and grounds are layout out really well with amazing views and scents from each area of the hotel. Breakfast on the terrace was stunning overlooking the ocean but would recommend going early to get a good table in the sun. All the staff were wonderful and very helpful. Our first family holiday since our new baby was born it was the perfect place to relax and reconnect.
The gym was great for equipment but the water station was not always replenished in the morning, it could do with being checked first thing before the gym opened at 8am.
Great location and really beautiful garden as well as private beach. The rooms are very spacious. There are free parking spots available. Also the gym and tennis as well as padel court are good for a hotel.
The service was not really up to the standards of a five-star hotel. The staff often only appeared friendly and seemed rather overwhelmed. The quality of the food in the restaurant (Acosta) was rather mediocre, but very expensive. Unfortunately, the rooms are poorly soundproofed.
Wow! Superb location with a semi-private beach! Staff was very helpful and kind. We traveled with our 1 year old and they made everything very easy for us. Breakfast was excellent too.
Breakfast finished a bit early (we would have taken some extra time). Restaurant's prices are very steep (but to be expected). Food was very good for both meals.
Food was delicious - the grill and the marinade, chefs kiss!Amazing service - the staff remembered our toddler's name and were so friendly. She loved the staff. The room was huge, we got complimentary pasteis de nata and sparkling wine on arrival, and plenty of free bottled water.
We visited during shoulder season (November) so the resort wasn't fully staffed. The kids club was parent accompanied.
