Breakfast was great, served until 11. The kitchen staff were super nice, the omelette chef was particularly delightful! The location is awesome. The Internet was really fast.

It was quite noisy, very easy to hear people moving around and moving furniture for some reason. Some of the infrastructure was a bit worn. We stayed in a suite which came equipped with cookware but no cooker. The rubber sheeting on the beds was not very pleasant.

Lodation, hostel spacious, beach

Many facilities were not working like kids room. Swimming pool was too dark. Access to swimming pool through restaurant area is not convinient.

The staff was nice. The breakfast buffet was good.

Cold indoor swimming pool with a broken floor. Jacuzzi just warm. The spa was closed. The pinball machines were broken.

The breakfast was great. The receptionist was also very nice. It's lovely that you can see the sea from the breakfast area and a sauna was a nice touch, included in the price.

The bed protection under the sheets made us feel like we slept on a plastic bag. The hotel overall seems to be needing some maintenance. The swimming pool floor was a bit weird to step on and there was a cockroach in the pool area. Everything felt a bit old and rundown.

Location

The Spa and interior pool was very cold, the ambient and the water. The Turkish bath door note working properly. Kids hanging around in the Spa like if it was a playground. My wife spotted a cockroach while we were having dinner.

The location was perfect, beautiful views. The overall hotel was neat and clean.

The only thing I would improve are the pillows.

Breakfast was wonderful with a nice variety of food. Dinner was so-so. Very helpful staff.

We received a complimentary bottle of wine, but there was no wine puller with it. We were then delivered a broken wine puller. We got a good laugh out of it!

Lovely location, great staff and wonderful breakfast. Room was very comfortable and clean with a nice balcony to sit out on. Lots of loungers and chairs on grounds to use the outdoor pool and views overlooking the bay were stunning.

Parking was extremely difficult as not enough spaces for all. Once we parked our vehicle we didn’t move it to go out for dinner in town so opted to walk each night to a nice restaurant a minute from the front door. Cost for evening hotel dinner was steep for our budget so didn’t eat there at all in evening. Turkish sauna door needs repair, the indoor hot tub was only lukewarm so may also need repair. We also used the sauna and some attention needs to be made to the wooden floorboards but it was lovely and hot in this sauna.

Resort was in a great little pocket in the Algarve next to a beautiful beach. We had a nice view of the ocean and balcony. We were also able to find a free parking spot not far from the resort which was nice. Also found a great Indian food restaurant right up the street. The was a large variety of food for breakfast including an omelet station which was nice.

I had upgraded to a Superior Ocean View Room but it wasn't that superior and seemed more like a regular room with side ocean view. We decided to book here because it showed having a indoor pool and hot tub which sounded great since it was showing rain the day we were booking there. When we went to down to the indoor pool it was cold!? So we decided to just use the hot tub. Well it was about as warm as tap water? Though the breakfast looked amazing when we went down to look it over early in the morning, when we finally got there around 10:00, a lot of the things were already gone and not replaced.

Staff was friendly and inviting. The views were amazing and location was wonderful. Very close walk to the beach . Nice restaurants within walking distance .

Staff was very friendly and welcoming but we had issues with air conditioning not working and insect issues with 2 large roaches in our room. Both issues were not resolved by the staff or management . We were not accommodated for our inconveniences and lack of sleep and were never offered another room . Our room was hot and the roach appeared 2 nights in a row in which we had to put towels under the door to not allow it back in the bedroom to be able to sleep . There was also a dirty water cooler in the lobby which needed to be cleaned . When I poured water in my glass mildew particles came into my glass. I didn’t realize this until days after I was there and did experience stomach problems which were possibly due to this cause .

Great location by the beach. Quiet area. Outstanding breakfast. Great staff.

Facilities are getting old even though the rooms have been renovated. The swimming pool is desperately needing repairs and several external walls and balconies are cracked.

I had a great experience at the Pestana Viking Resort. Everything went smoothly during my stay, and I truly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.What stood out the most was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff — everyone was welcoming and always ready to help, which made a big difference. The food was also very good, with a variety of tasty options available throughout the day.Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a comfortable stay in the Algarve. Great service, delicious food, and a peaceful environment made it a very pleasant experience.
