Pros +
- We recently stayed at this incredibly elegant hotel in France and couldn’t have been more delighted. The location is absolutely spectacular, with a wonderful, breathtaking view from our window. It was such a peaceful and pleasant place to unwind. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast—served with elegance and class, it was a real treat each morning. We are already looking forward to coming back and experiencing it all over again. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel.
- Very helpful and pleasant staff. Nice breakfast and good outside areas. Good air conditioning.
- Nice swimming pool. The meal on our first evening was very good and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious, with a roof terrace and a comfortable bed.
Cons -
- Shower rather than bath in bedroom would have been preferable.
- The car park cost 12 € a day although I'm not sure this was mentioned in advance. We didn't have a proper shower but an over-dimensioned bathtub with taps and facilities that still mistify me and did not work properly anyway ( with water spilling from unexpected places).

The breakfast, and all the food at this lovely, gastronomic hotel, is fantastic. Our hosts were lovely and helpful. Having stayed here before, I know the rooms differ and are a bit quirky. Hey, it's an historic building with character. The rooms at Le Castellas do not disappoint. Our breakfasts and dinners were outstanding!
All good.
nice enchanting village; warm welcome, nice room
The dinner was absurdly over-priced for what we got. the food was of good quality, nice, but it can never make up for the price of €30,- for a mai. course and €15,- for a starter. ..then the parking is charged….we are in a village, just somewhere in the country side!
superb historical buildings. peaceful, relaxing, secure motorcycle parking for an additional fee. wonderful and helpful welcome from Jean Christophe ?
Thé plumbing and electrics in our room could definitely do with some attention. However, it didn’t distract from a truly wonderful stay and we even stayed there a second night because we loved it so much.
lovely quaint property. great food and friendly staff.
Nice small city hotel with fine service. Nice view from the room, and spacious and clean.
The restaurant were closed on Mondays and the website and booking.com did not have this information!
The food was great, for dinner there was little choice but that wasn’t necessary because the flavours were exceptional! The village is quiet and authentic and beautiful and the hotel has lots of character. Friendly welcome, even for our dog.
Nothing, we might go back!
Super beautiful and individual rooms. Very romantic atmosphere and kind and competent personnel. Will come back for sure.
