Each guest room at Hotel Laxnes features a seating area, work desk and TV. Some also have a kitchenette and a balcony with scenic views. The spacious rooms are simply, yet comfortably decorated. - great location (near the BEST bakery!), big room, responsive staff (we arrived at 1am)
- Simple, safe, clean, good location about 15mins from the capital. It's nothing fancy, but much less expensive. Grocery, bakery, and quick food within walking distance.
- Clean. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Restaurant for breakfast onsite. Near gas station and other dining options.
Cons -
- Know it¿s in the suburbs. Beds were twin size. They have cots
- Water smells like rotten eggs. Not a big issue.

The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Free parking. The location is just out of Reykjavik on Route 1 near Route 36. Great way to get into Thingvellir National Park early.
Water smells like rotten eggs. Not a big issue.
