Holiday Inn Express Arcachon - La Teste

The staff is very friendly and caring!

Very conveniently located in the outskirts of Arcachon. Big parking lot. Good WiFi. Clean room. Breakfast with variety of different food: pastry, fruits, cold cuts, eggs, yoghurt. Good coffee.

Room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. Good mattress. Easy access to the Dune and Arcachon.

The breakfast was ok but not exceptional. Food was very standard store bought fare.

Perfect spot from which to explore La Rochelle. The old port is just a few steps away, but the hotel is in quiet area. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable. Breakfast was a treat. The staff is excellent. My wife tripped on a door lip and the young lady on duty, Lizzie, did a great job making sure she was okay and then making an ice pack for her injury. Excellent bike storage with tools.

Very nice modern hotel, freandly stuff, gave us good recomendations for restaurants and parking.

No mini fridge in the room

Breakfast was excellent and varied. The room and social areas were immaculately clean. The staff were courteous and very helpful. The room was well appointed and comfortable.

There was only one pillow each, though there was a soft one and a medium one. We had to get more. Other than this everything was fantastic value for money.

Cleanliness

No fridge, room stuffy

Very nice and spacious room with amazing modern furniture. Very clean and tidy with great sound isolation. Great location. Kind, comunicative and friendly receptionists. Huge parking area - covered garage and open space.

We loved everything :)

Centrally located. Rooms are clean and staff was friendly. Special mention to Xavier, who was extremely friendly to us. Parking space was sufficient for our group too

Limited hot food for breakfast.

Brilliant location for local amenities, restaurants, shopping and just 10 mins from the sea. Very helpful staff who recommended good local restaurants.

All good but could have done with a hand towel each.

Very good breakfast. Quickly refilled. Good Eco products. Management works sustainable. Excellent. Clean. We can recommend it

The room has everything you may need and a very comfortable bed.

Breakfast had no hot dishes apart from bacon. There was a sign offering scrambled eggs but they weren't there.

The breakfast was better than I expected for a continental breakfast. More space in the room than expected. The parking was safe and plentiful. In was what I was looking for and got for a change. As per my filters

The bed was too hard for my liking

Very nice personal, good room, breakfast, parking

Good parking, access to Arcachon, friendly staff, quirky decor, additional linen, brand new

Insufficient room for luggage if couple on extended trip.

The hotel is situated close to the village, it is very convenient to spend a few days, very clean and pleasant. I have stayed at this hotel other times. So I brought a group of friends to the same hotel.

On arrival, the afternoon of 21September, 2024, the receptionist who checked us in (1 night for 8 people, 4 rooms) found only one of the 4 reservations, made through booking.com, although the registered price in that reservation was the price of. 4 nights. He was very inattentive and uncooperative, he insisted that we should check if the reservations had been made and we had to open our computers to look for the Emails with that information. We showed him the Email with the confirmation of reservation for the 4 rooms and he insisted that only one was registered in the Hotel system. He said that we would have to solve the situation with booking and that we should be the ones to look for the phone number and call. We did so and still waited some time without a response, so we gave up waiting. I suggested that I would pay the total amount indicated and asked him to book 3 more rooms, to be paid in addition to this amount. The receptionist argued that the charge for a room for the amount of 4 could not be recorded and all the solutions we proposed were not possible in his opinion. After contact with his boss, he received instructions by phone to look for some notes in a paper folder, whose content we do not know, and finally checked in. This situation, which took about 1 hour to resolve, was extremely unpleasant and complicated and left 8 people with an average age of 70 waiting at the reception desk for a solution. We will reconsider whether to return to this hotel.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Great hotel. Clean and tidy. Great breakfast.

All you need for breakfast was there. Not a huge selection, but what was there was great. The nice proper coffee made all the difference. Can only recommend it. Parking is secure with gates locked at night. The bar for an evening drink was an added bonus. Just ask at the reception if you want something from the bar.

Towels could be bigger.

- AC works really well- Nice and clean room- Nice staff

- Noisy and not very comfortable mattress - Really small closet and little space to place clothes - Water comes out of the shower space

Everything really, very modern, great size room, super clean, great staff, secure parking on site, location to harbour and beach .....

Breakfast a little basic compared to some, no hot breakfast choices other than a boiled egg, but plenty of continental choices, didn't spoil our stay ......
