Ability to make coffee in room. Parking was an issue. Unable to find parking in lots one afternoon. Had to park down the road.

The breakfast is a typical German buffet breakfast with a standard collection.I arrived at night, so I could not see much of the surroundings. However, I could take a nice walk along the Elbe river the morning after breakfast

Everything was to my expectations.

Nice location by the river Elbe, 15-20 minutes walk from the Albrechtsburg castle. Cozy beergarden on the riverside. Clean, comfortable rooms with river view.

Breakfast could be a little better.

The location is lovely on the bank of the river Elbe just outside Meissen.

The man who we booked in with could not find our reservation. The same member of staff took our order at dinner and gave completely the wrong information about the drinks we were trying to order and the food on the menu. I think the problem was one of language but he did not like to reveal his poor understanding and consequently repeatedly gave the wrong information. This spoiled our meal.

Nice clean comfortable. Good tradiotional restaurant. Very beautiful view to the river. Dogs allowed.

I've been fortunate enough to spend the last 2 weeks travelling through Germany, starting in the north west and heading east. The best hotel, by far (Quedlinburg was good too) is this one. Stunning location on the banks of the river, the property is beautifully maintained and is quietly stylish without being over the top.I probably got a particularly good deal by booking early, but for £47 (c€55), I got a great room, perfect bed, and the breakfast was delicious. Top class stay!

Very nice localation with a great view of the old town of Meissen. Friendly and helpful staff.The restaurant offers a good selection of good quality food. Definitely recommended!

The location was great, espacially the view to the castle and the river. The room was also nice and made in a retro style, with a lot of wood, which is great.The breakfast was not perfect, but still a very decent one.

There is no public transport in the weekends. Actually DB does show there is one, but its a so-called RUF Bus, so you should order it at least an hour before, which is awkwardThe pillows were really not confortable, but in the end was not too awful. Fine for 1-2 nights.

It is along the river, country scenery. Very quiet.

Breakfast just basic nothing huge like some other. It fulfill our needs.

Wonderful find in all ways. Relaxing night in very comfortable room overlooking river. Take time for drink on terrace to enjoy view before very good dinner looking out onto castle at night. Staff were lovely and sympathetic to English speakers. All in highly recommended

The view was the best thing.

Breakfast was poor, coffee weak and untasty, The cereals were moldy.

Spacious room and bathroom, nice view to the river, nice location next to the bicycle path, good restaurant and friendly staff. I would say good ratio of price/quality.

Noisy room overlooking the street. but that could have been avoided had we paid a but extra for a riverfront room.

Clean room, good local-food breakfast, free parking space, beautiful view to the Elbe and the old town.

The bed in the room was not 1 extra-large double bed , it was twin beds

Being able to bring our dogs with us, also the price per dog is fair (10 euros per dog). The room was clean and comfortable, and there is a parking outside for free. The breakfast was also very nice, with views to the river

Loud music from a birthday party well into the night. Full parking lot due to the same reason.

A pleasant short walk along the river into Meissen. our room was comfortable and a reasonable size. the staff were helpful and friendly and were kind enough to speak English. The breakfast was very good and the rest served very tasty food.

The management were very helpful, food was excellent though a bit pricey. Location excellent and my one night stay was comfortable andvrestfull.

The location adjacent to the was very pleasing.

I was aware about it but to the city centre / bus-train station is 30 minutes nice walk along the river. Nothing special
