Brit Hotel Rennes St Grégoire Le Villeneuve

The hotel was easy to find using our satnav. The parking area is through a barrier and there is a code to lift the barrier when leaving this means it is secure. There is a lift to the bedrooms on the first floor. Our room was fine for an overnight or short stay. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The ensuite had a walk in shower. We had dinner in the restaurant the menu does not have a large choice but the food and service was good.

The only thing we found that could be improved was the actual bedroom. It was in need of a complete refurbishment. There was brown wood panelling half way up the walls, the furniture was dark brown, the carpet and curtains were dark red. The main light was a dim wall light and the only other lights were on the wall either side of the bed. It was dark and depressing.

The hotel is a convenient location as a stop off when travelling to St Malo. There is a good safe car park, which is free.Our room was clean and comfortable bed. It had everything we needed for a one night stay.Breakfast was adequate.

The onsite restaurant was closed for the Saturday night, which meant we had to drive to another location. There is no kettle in the room.

Had bar and restaurant on site. Ideal as we arrived too tired to drive to a restaurant. Staff really friendly. Dog friendly hotel.

Room faced a hospital and was awoken by a guy using a cango hammer to repair the barrier of the hospital. 8.30am.

Duvets too hot. Had to sleep under bath towels. Improve door keys to touch style. Keys are unsafe if there’s a fire.

We all liked the breakfast a lot. But we really liked the dinner the night before.

We know you can’t change the way. The rooms are configured, but the toilet room was very difficult to get in and out of..

Lovely Breakfast—all you would want. The room is dated, but that's not an issue. There is no soundproofing between rooms or the corridor. Would have liked a kettle. It seemed a little expensive. The staff were friendly. Room was Clean. The bed was comfortable. It was fine for the night.

Told that breakfast was included - it was not !!!Very poor and still waiting for refund !!!!

Lack of understanding and staff were not helpful at all.We will not be using this hotel again.

Close to a good bus service into the city centre.

The restaurant floor was dirty. We had one evening meal when there. There was a massive red beetle that came out of my green salad. All the staff did was replace the salad thus all other food was cold. No apology.

Hotel a bit outdated but very clean and staff very friendly. Not really a problem as only needed a bed!

No tea and coffee making facilities which is always nice to have

The stay was fine quite pricey for what was available no food or hot meals available on a Sunday location was good.

The location is nice and quiet but through our own fault, perhaps further away from the main town centre than hoped.

We stayed one night while travelling. We ate dinner which was very good, the room was very comfortable and extremely quiet and the staff very pleasant and helpful.
