- Food & beer
- Friendly and helpful staff. Really central location. Good food and beer in the restaurant!
- Nice, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing
Cons -
- I know it's what we Brits expect but tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be nice. Parking for us was ok - thanks to the receptionist, we were allowed to park overnight in the courtyard by reception at a 10 euro per day cost . Otherwise we would have had to drop our bags off then find somewhere nearby. Nothing they can do about this due to their central location - this is more of an advance warning for others.
- A bit expensive for the area, lift not working
- On the 2nd day the room was not cleaned, the wi-fi seemed to disconnect late at night, was good the rest of the timeOverall

Excellent location and very friendly staff and atmosphere. One of the best breakfast offers to be found in Germany for this kind of hotel.Very nice adjacent restaurant with a good variety of dinner choices.
All good.
Traditional Stayed in the Annexe - quiet and comfortable
One of the best breakfasts we have ever had in Europe!! A HUGE buffet. The breakfast alone makes the stay worthwhile. The restaurant and beer selections were also very good.
Parking was a bit difficult.
Really nice hotel in the historic heart of the beautiful old town. Walking distance to all of the many sights. Really good beer! Dinner was also very good. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Germany.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. We're helpful at times, was able to accommodate us for having drinks late at night within the premises, because we sometimes came back late.
There was language barrier between ourselves and the staff, but we managed to get by.Would have liked a few more english speaking staff.
We come here every year on our way to or from a local festival and we absolutely love it. The staff are so welcoming and it's a very picturesque and peaceful setting and the food and drinks are incredible.
The beautifully clean appointed quiet room.
Not a thing - all was stunning
Traditional and comfortable. Very welcoming.
No air-con and it was very hot weather.
Breakfast was excellent, staff was friendly, room was very clean. I enjoyed having diner at their restaurant
Bit old fashioned
The Hotel is located it central part of the city, surrounded by cathedrals with both sides. The restaurant/bar on the territory of the Hotel, and their own BEER! Very delicious I must say, so must try!
In my second trip I was located in La Villa, not far, but not the same territory with main building. Although as I understand La Villa has better rooms which is actually a good moment.
There's a surprisingly lively scene at the restaurant bar, well into the night, after the restaurant stops serving at 9PM.
The breakfast is really good. Nice location. Friendly staff.
Poor wifi in the rooms
Location, staff, and food were excellent. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast.
It had loads of character.Warm and friendlyCentral to the town
No on site parking - municipal car park some distance from the hotel. this was rather difficult to manage.
Breakfast was superb.
Access to the room was through the restaurant during a meeting. Awkward.
Good breakfast, quiet rooms!
