    Pros +

    • Beautiful location with excellent service and hospitality; amazing on property at one-star Michelin restaurant Le Saint Estève where we had our best meal during our trip to France
    • Nothing really.
    • Lovely location, nice staff and service.

    Cons -

    • The hotel reflects the standard of a 3 Star hotel, having 5 star on this hotel is inappropriate for the standard. I paid for 3 night UPFRONT ~1650,- € for a junior suite. I expected the hotel in a clean manner with nice staff who takes care. It was the opposite and very much disappointing on all levels. The entire hotel is DIRTY. Hotel has cats inside, I hope you are not allergic to cat hair because they are allowed everywhere. Staff doesn't bother to clean the messy hair of the cats. The hotel is extremly badly maintained, everything seems old, broken and dirty. The restaurant is a joke. Concierge services leaves the car outside - was dirty when I got it back. The bed and all decorations are like IKEA quality - very bad taste electric candles, old floors, dirt on floor in breakfast room, it is dark in the whole hotel, in spa is a seat full of cat hair, staff does not understand or talk english - misunderstands every 2nd sentence, very uneducated, they smile but feels like fake smiles, the room is old and shower is beyond the last date of usable. And the fitness room... never saw something like that. An absolute joke. I am very happy that we did not book a 200 euro massage before arrival because let me tell you the so called "spa" is horrible. The room will not be done if you leave in the afternoon and they do not communicate, so you come back towels not renewed, no bed is made, nothing. There is no minibar so only 2 bottles of water, no snacks, which is unbelievable for a 5 star hotel. Above 150 euro per night is the max I would pay. So I feel scammed by the hotel and fooled by the pictures on booking.com, never again.
    • Spa disappointing with pool not warm enough and sauna not hot enough.

Les Lodges is a dreamy property! The staff, service and room were top notch. It was a beautifully decorated property the terraces and pools were so lovely and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Our French is not great and much of the staff were able to communicate with us in English and we were so grateful. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Aix en Provence.

location, view, nice pleasant hotel, stuff is very nice, and helpful, always.rooms are comfartable and clean.

breakfast dose not match the standart of the hotel, and the price paid. a big difference between the hotel level and the food level, also the bartenders are not professional at all.not enough lighting in the room.

The staff were super accommodating with great recommendations and the shuttle to Aix was so handy!! We were upgraded to a suite for our honeymoon which was such a treat, breakfast was great and such a beautiful location.

The only issue we had was that the daytime menu was not very child friendly (we had to bring our baby last minute as she was unwell) but they did their best to accommodate us.

Beautiful space - and lovely and friendly staff - the garden was also serene.

Nosey construction 2 days we were there. No bathtub and the indoor pool was not warm. Expected more for how much we spent.

Gorgeous and generous sized room, elegant with both double shower, twin sinks and bathtub. Bed very comfortable and overlooking the beautiful terraced courtyard with views of Mont St. Victoire. Delicous breakfast and extremely helpful and nice staff.

The staff, the room, the grounds, the view ... I can't pick a favourite. Special shout out to the lovely, Benjamin who made our stay extra special with his warmth and hospitality.

The location is beautiful and the staff go out of their way to help. The hotel car takes you to Aix in 10 minutes so you have the best of the city and the countryside with lovely walks in the hills.

    Secluded, peaceful, fantastic views

Would have liked a bit more variety for the a la carte/room service menu

    THE SERENITY OF THE GROUNDS

DINNER STAFF WAS CONFUSED AND DISCOMBOBULATED. DID NOT HAVE SELECTED WINE FOR LUNCH AND DINNER, HOW CAN YOU RUN OUT ???

Meal at hotel restaurant was very good. Location superb

No lunch available other than full restaurant experience. Taken to another bistro but then not picked up when requested twice, missed our pre-booked Uber. Hotel ordered us a taxi but did not offer to take us to our pre-booked timed Cezanne visit when they had transport available.

Breakfast is very nice but way to expensive

Disappointed by the restaurant. Used to be a one star Michelin. Now the menu is limited and the food is good but not amazing The snack menu is too limited The staff is very nice but too few as well

The hotel is located in a beautiful location where tranquility reigns supreme. The grounds and the views are just stunning. There are 2 outdoor pools, one exclusively for adults. There's full access to the sauna, steam bath and fitness centre. The room (deluxe double), albeit a bit bland in design, is extremely comfortable and spacious, with a balcony. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, which we enjoyed. There is a coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods and complimentary sparkling and still water bottles. The TV allows casting from portable devices. On arrival, there was a valet service in place and our luggage was taken to our room. There are 2 restaurants on site, we did not try the more upscale one, but the food served at the other was tasty and well portioned, albeit a bit pricey. Guests were very well mannered, no parading influencers or loud talkers. When we left, we really felt as if we managed to unplug and relax.

I believe the staff felt quite short of the expected for a 5* hotel like this one. Some, not all, were not particularly pleasant to interact with. Their level of english, understanding and spoken, was not up to the standard. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow. We noticed a lot of staff running back and forth but not interacting with the guests. More than one guest had to get up to get a menu or give in their order. One member of staff asked me to point out in the menu what I wanted because he/she couldn't understand me. Throughout the day not one single member of staff approached the guests in the pool area. I had to open my own sun umbrella everyday. And that's what I can remember, there were more issues. I think you can do a lot better. Only reason you're not a 10!

A beautiful location with very friendly and helpful staff.

The dinner was very good but not quite as good as previously.
