B&B HOTEL Metz Augny

IT was 32.5 degrees outside very hot day, the room was super hot, and the air conditioning was not working, it was switched off, the staff told us that it was not working yet !!!

It was perfect for our short overnight needs while traveling. Quiet. Comfortable. Clean. Safe.

The receptionist was very helpful! ♡We really enjoyed how we could access the vending machine & microwave at any hour with our code!

The shower wasn't closed off enough & water would splatter all over the floor.

Breakfast was OK. Good coffee and French bread.

The location. Too far away from a suitable choice of places to buy food and drink. The aircon in the room was not efficient, came on but no cold air.The shower had a ridulous step up to get into it.

Breakfast poor.

Lady at reception was unfriendly and rude when asked about poor air-conditioning. Which was not good at all very hot. Young man was nice who helped us.

No access to hotel. Check in machine was broken. No support available.

Rude person on intercom. Needed to divert to other hotel.

Bedwantsen

Inchecken was drama. Badkamer vies en we vonden bedwantsen.

Location was near the highway and in the neighbourhood plenty of restaurants.

Room was really dirty. There was no one at the reception-desk, so complaining was pointless. The breakfast was awful; old croissants, no bread or toppings, no eggs. There was someone in the kitchen, but when we need the person, she was gone.

Clever room design for a 4 person room in a budget hotel.

The hotel reception is only manned for relatively short periods. The negative review in the smiley list earlier is only because we didn't meet any.

Excellent hotel for passing through - close to the highway, clean room, good bed and shower. Large bakery and restaurants nearby. Excellent value for moneySafe parking

Was fine for a single night stay. Clean room, nice staff.

location easy to find

we had stopped at the montelimar b&b and the family room was far better no stairs up to the bed far too steep so we booked thinking room would be the same

We were travelling and needed a place to stay. I liked that is was a place and I could stay. But that's it. Fastfood restaurants nearby, so for a travel-stop that was a plus.

Airco wasn't working, just warm air coming out of it. Really really tiny place (the 4 person room). Smelling like it had been closed for weeks. Price was way too high for this kind of quality in my opinion.

Disappointing

Room had a horrible smell, as if the previous guest had been sick, and food for breakfast was really not good. The hotel was not particularly cheap neither. For 10 euro more, we would have had something better.

Dog friendly, right next door to a big supermarket and short walk to subway! Really big rooms with a fridge, tv and loads of storage. Secure underground parking.

The breakfast is poor- no real healthy options available, machine coffee not very nice however on our second day we were offered a proper coffee from the kitchen which was really nice.

Werry good secure parking and checkin late at night. Own door. Quite to sleep. Werry cheep too. Also i am kinky with my pillows. These were perfect to me. The bed also.

Room was very clean breakfast excellent and friendly efficent staff

Better to avoid!

we should have been told that the hotel is under construction, that reception only opens at 5PM, that debit cards are not accepted (even though we used them all over France for the past 2 weeks!). the rooms + bath rooms are extremely small. Overall a very unpleasant experience

the staff was nice, the shower was good

it is really old and needs an update urgently. like really urgently. The room was not clean. The carpet was a mess. The bathroom was full of burn marks and not clean. The shower was good but the shower curtain is a no go. When we got outside my car was covered by paint and dust due to the work they were doing at the outside (they should start with the rooms).

Fairly efficient check in and nice breakfast.
