- This place is going to be our family’s new tradition. We loved everything! Beautiful facilities, very kind staff (they went out of their way to help us find something that we were looking for!) wonderful views. - Nothing. Everything was great.
- Expect front desk to be temporarily overwhelmed by arriving or departing groups of people. Parking can also be challenging if the hotel is full.

It’s just great to sit on the balcony and look out over the vineyards and the Rhine valley…

Hotel Arnold is a picturesque retreat that truly delivers on its promise of stunning views over the vineyards. Nestled right on the village wine route, the hotel perches above rolling vineyards and curved valley landscapes. Our room had a balcony with breathtaking panorama making it an unforgettable visit. Their restaurant across the street is also great!
Internet signal was a bit flaky (only old 801.11b standard provided, really needs an upgrade). The signal barely made it to the balcony which is a shame since that’s exactly where you want to be to enjoy the views!
Very nice view, good breakfast
They charge 16 EUR per person for the pool, which is very expensive if you paid already 150€ per night.
The location, the spa facilities, the staff very help, as l have limited French, special thanks to Tiffanne, she is a very hard working in the restaurant across from the hotel, as well in the breakfast room, her English is very impressive. The restaurant had excellent food as well as the service. Our room over looked the forest/ vineyards which was very comfortable, clean and spacious for our stay.
The only thing is there is no tea or coffee facilities in your room, this could be down to safety. They charge for tea and coffee, even at breakfast, if you can work the coffee machine it’s free of charge only at breakfast time it’s available.
The room was a good size, the bathroom a very good size. Beds were comfy, shower great and the view from the bedroom (leading into the terrace) superb (lovely country side). It was very quiet, staff very friendly, good to have a locker room for the bikes and a good breakfast. We also had a lovely meal in the restaurant which is located across the road.
It was a little pricey considering you even had to pay extra for the whirlpool.
This is not the first time we stay they’re, and obviously the hotel is good amongst other in the vicinity
Absence of a kettle. We would usually book a quadruple room for us three, this time it was unavailable and we booked 2 normal rooms . As we arrived late, restaurants were closed it was nice in the quadruple room to have a cup of tea. Which wasn’t the case in two normal rooms. Price is the same for 1 quadruple room and 2 normal rooms, latter is a bit more expensive. The rest was exceptional as usual
Views from room 12 were first class. Clean room. Adequate parking. Restaurant very good.
Small toilet room. Lack of complementary water in room. No lift. Breakfast was average.
Hotel was very inviting. Room had terrrace with table and chairs, overlooking vineyards. Breakfast has very good selection of breads, deli meats, cheeses, eggs made if requested. Parking spaces plentiful. Reception professional, restaurant food is good, not exceptional. Close to Colmar and about 40 minutes drive to Bourg. Lovely drive on the wine route. Region is beautiful.
the location was perfect, the wellness center was small but clean and has a beautiful view. The breakfast area was also lovely and the staff members were very welcoming. Our room, located opposite the main hotel, was spacious and very cozy.
the balcony was a little unkempt (it had some spider webs), but that was not a big deal. It was still very cold anyway to hang out at the balcony when we were there. It would be absolutely fantastic if the rooms had a kettle for making tea at night.
love the location and excellent restaurant.
This was our third stay but the room was small and no balcony. Our previous stays were more comfortable.
Our fourth stay at the Hotel Arnold. It's a fantastic location for exploring the Alsace Wine regio and th major cities. The views from the balconies are superb.
I wish it had a bar in the salon.........out of season it's hard to find a drink in Itteswiller.
Very attractive building in lovely picturesque and quiet location. Staff very friendly.
Poor value, didn't expect en-suite with a cracked basin. Breakfast very average, fresh fruit salad 90% tasteless apple.Restaurant, again poor value, limited choice and the baeckeoffe which we chose was totally lacking in flavour.
The surrounding area is quite beautiful and the hotel from the outside and architectural design is quite pleasant.
When we arrived the kids wanted to swim a little…to what the receptionist automatically said the hotel pool is mainly for adults and not for kids, where the kids only have a specific time slot to go.then with the expensive room we were informed that to access the pool without the kids we needed to pay 16 euros that seems exaggerated for the pool size and the non welcoming reception message and not friendly to the kids. Then the staff and the overall hotel facilities are not kids friendly at all. A shame as they promote so much the pool and then they overcharge and almost excluded the kids to access to allow the other guest for their zen moments. Can understand but at least make that information clear and without doubts. Don’t promote something that in the end doesn’t work exactly like promotes.
Beautiful room and outside space with stunning views
Shame there was an extra charge to use the spa/swimming pool. I think people staying at the hotel should not be charged.
great view from the bedroom helpful staff good breakfast.
plagued by wasps inside the breakfast dining area. There were so many wasps we had to leave our table and go outside.
The hotel was completely full with a very large group who had booked a year ago. With this is mind reception had very thoughtfully allocated us a fantastic room in a neighbouring annex, which was very well appointed, quiet and with its' own car park. The evening dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the hotel were, as ever, fantastic, with delicious food and generous serves.
Hotel Arnold and the entire town is an amazing experience! I absolutely loved my stay and cannot wait until I can go back again soon.
