Western City

Excellent little site, quiet, lovely area great for running cycling, great Western experience. Troyes is a lovely town.

The “Buffalo Bill” log cabin was very wheelchair accessible. The cabin was well stocked with laundry liquid, washing liquid, salt, pepper, tea, coffee.

Pack mosquito spray in summer!

The theming was fantastic my son was delighted to be a real cowboy for the night

Very hot in the cabin but we were there the night of the heat wave! We could have done with a fan.

We were here for 2 nights and were pleasantly surpised by the ccommodation. It was clean and comfortable. Nice place to go to with kids as they can play freely.

The quiet place and cleanliness .We did not take breakfast .we woke up late though..we only stay 1 night.

Nothing. Everything for me is perfect. My dog can run around in the very spacious sorrounding.

Our "wagon" was surprisingly roomy, efficiently laid out, and well-equipped. All set up for a little outdoor cooking too.

WC was a little cramped for anyone 6 foot tall

Such a fun place for families with kids and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The mock western town and caravans were great to explore.

The caravans could do with a bit of a refresh and a spruce up. It would have been good to know that there wasn't an oven, just a microwave.

Unusual accommodation in wonderland French countryside. Wagon had modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Sheets felt a little damp and pillows need updating, or changing.

The caravan was quirky . good size and a nice terrace / play area around well equipped kitchen bathroom / toilet all ok location is great for cycling into the city we stayed one night en route back home to Uk - it was enough

the whole place has a run down feeling the caravan was quite dirty - nit the surfaces but the ceiling and outer area covered in spiders webs the bedding was old and needs replacing nothing else was open on the site could be a fabulous location to go esp for festivals / parties but just some money and enthusiasm to get it up and running again

Fantastic setting with great potential. Well executed. Kids love it, and parents too...

A real functioning 'saloon' would have been added value. Currently there are no food or drinks available.

The concept was ok

The wagon or cottage as it was called was run down as was the whole site.We had the previous occupiers toothbrush left in the bathroom.Cobwebs & filthy seats on the wobbling entrance.Broken toilet seat.Dismal & dark inside and very hot, no air conditioning just a small fan.No facilities open and wished we hadn't bothered to book.A never ever again experience and certainly wouldn't recommend.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the resort was clean and well laid out. The novelty value went down well with all of the family.

If we could have ordered a breakfast basket- just bread and juice to be delivered rather than have to drive to town for food.

We stayed in Western City on our way back from the Cote d'Azur to Amsterdam. It is a cowboy dream come true. The owner told us that he build up everything from scratch, together with his son. It is noticable that every detail is made with the most care and attention. We stayed in a wooden caravan. The styling is wonderful. Everything was super clean. The rain shower was very relaxing. The small kitchen was equiped with everything we needed, including coffee and tea. Our kids (6 and 10 year) had a lot of fun with the games and toys (bow and arrow, tin cans and balls etc.) provided.
