The crew is very friendly, every question has a positive result.

The Elevator was defective for a few days but got repaired.Overall the hotel looks maintained and clean, the internet connection is stable, the internet speed is not constant.Parking works very fine, there is however a fee per day for parking.The breakfast is complete and tasty.The location is great, easy to drive to the hotel and a short walk to go into town.

The room was very old, the carpets were discolored, the curtains had holes and the beds were not comfortable at all.There were 2 single beds, not meant for a couple at all. Even the toiletries were not complementary.

Room was excellent with lots of space. I and my wife still needed to do some work. We both had each a separate desk. Bathroom and toilet were separated. Nice view over the town and the Strelasund from the windows.

We liked our previous stay here, so this is why we got back with much pleasure. Our request for a quiet room was fulfilled, thank you so much. We had a very spacious and comfortable room. The bathroom was fabulously warm, which not always happens at hotels at this time of the year! Lovely breakfast (with delicious silky coffee) and very friendly staff - we are looking forward to going back again!

Minor problems with lift not arriving at every floor due to thunder lightning which can be understood, as this was not the hotel's fault. But let's hope it'll be sorted out soon.

A bit run down & needs some refurbishment. Room was prepared for 1 person (pillow & blanket) although we booked for 2.

There was cereal and oat milk at breakfast, so as a vegan I was able to eat. Copy of local map available at reception was helpful. I approve of not wasting resources (towels etc. NOT changed daily, only if requested).

Wireless access was promised as "Free high-speed Wi-Fi helps you stay connected to everything that matters to you." THEY LIED. Wi-Fi was non-existent except in/by the lobby. Not being able to get my computer online and work in the evenings and mornings in my room had a huge negative impact on my whole stay. Pillow was too soft - I needed to use my travel pillow under it.

Needs a refreshing touch in the rooms and the hallways.

The hotel was surprisingly comfortable, and located quite well not far from the main city's attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff members. Lovely breakfast, everything served fresh. The room was warm, with a nice view at the city centre. Sauna is a great option, and we appreciated the reasonable price for it.

Light in the room should definitely be better arranged. Really darkish and not good for the eyes if you want to check the map or simply read something.

I was very skeptical before booking to stay at this hotel because of the rating that it has , but i have to say that everything is fine .Especially for the price. Value for money. Location is great and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.There may be better and newer or more modern hotels in Stralsund but when i am back i dont think that i will hesitate staying here.

It is true that the carpet in the rooms or in the halls leading to the rooms are not as clean as they should but this was not too bad. Also if i had to mention something is that instead of the double bed that i asked and booked for , my room came with 2 single bed which we had to unite together . Not very comfortable.Internet can be awful and very frustrating at times

Convenient location, easy to park on the street next to the building and the city parking is cheap.

If you are used to VHbW standards, forget about them here. It's just an old, not renowated local hotel that was just rebranded - but nothing new came with the name.1. Carpets are stained, walls are dirty.2. If you get a room with a Windows on a street during summer - forget about good sleep. You will have to open the window, cause there is no A/C and the noisy street will do the rest.

The room was great and offered everything I needed (plus more) for one night. Nice atmosphere and staff. The breakfast was great with a delicious and varied selection.

A third bed in a double room was unnecessary for me as a solo traveler - this could easily have been removed before I arrived for better space, but didn't bother me for one night. Parking was a bit poorly organized on late arrival - I eventually found one, but had expected the staff to be somewhat more accommodating in explaining and helping to find a parking space.

Very pleasant, spacious room. relaxing lounge area in the evening and all well within walking distance of the old town.Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and coffee pot on the table.Staff were very helpful.

The bath was quite high so little tricky getting out of the shower.
