Pros +
- Comfortable and large room, very quiet, very clean. Prime location in old town.
- Amazing room and shower pressure was fantastic.
- Gorgeous location on the water. Wonderful breakfast buffet.
Cons -
- Breakfast was poor: high price, poor quality, little food variety, croissants were disgusting (like cardboard).
- I asked the front desk person for a trash bag, which I didn’t think was an unreasonable request. We’d been trying to isolate our clothing due to a bed bug situation from a different hotel. She just looked at me disdainfully and said “no” and went back to what she was doing! ?
- It's a bit spendy, especially the breakfast.

Gorgeous location on the water. Wonderful breakfast buffet.

It is right on the water with a great view, 5 min taxi ride from train station. very quiet. 3 min. walk to the theater (was there for a show) The buffet breakfast was very good. Lunch was very good. Best vegan burger I have ever had, it just tasted like a fancy tasty sandwhich rather than a meat substitute, Restaurant, bar, and reception staff were polite and very accomodating
I asked for a special needs accomodation well ahead of time and it was granted but when I arrived they had no record of it. BUT they made every effort to fix the problem and they did.
Very well placed for the old town, excellent breakfast.
We would have liked some tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Also, it was a pity the bar was closed for much of our stay.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning hotel by the Baltic Sea, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the elegant reception area, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff's attention to detail made me feel truly welcome. The hotel's design strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. Every corner was immaculate, and the modern, tasteful decor gave it a sophisticated ambiance. My room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and offered breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea. The cleanliness was impeccable, making the space feel even more inviting. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, from the serene spa to the exquisite dining options. Each meal was a culinary experience, with fresh local ingredients and impeccable service. Overall, this hotel combines elegance, comfort, and excellent service, making it the perfect retreat by the Baltic Sea. I can't wait to return!
The staff were great and the hotel has a fantastic location. The room with sea-view are definitely worth the extra cost. Restaurant on site and middle-eastern and italian places near by. WE booked for 1 night and stayed 3 and were swtill a little sad to be leaving. The craft beers that they have for sale are delicious. We will be back.
Excellen thotel and position; Sea views are amazing; but see cons note
comfort of room was not good, very very hot; suggest management to close curtains to avoid direct sun when rooms are not occupied and/or leave windows open to circulate air
Nice location and spacious rooms. Modern equipment.
Unfortunately, my room was in the 2nd floor (under the roof) and oriented towards south. The personal forgot to close the blinds, so I had over 30 degrees C in the room without climate control. Additionally, the blanket was a winter blanket. Pointing out this too the stuff, I did not got offered another room or a word of sorry.
Great location, friendly staff, convenient on-site parking. Room in the Annex was clean, functional and quiet. Good breakfast.
The lighting in the bathroom was not enough - I found it uncomfortable to shave in that half-light.
Excellent hotel in a perfect location for the old town, restaurants, the old harbour, walks….The staff were delightful- warm and welcoming as well as very efficient. We booked a sea view which was beautiful and had a cooling breeze to help with sleep on warm nights. We have been to this hotel several times and would not hesitate to return.
We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room otherwise it was perfect!
Very helpful ladies at the reception. Good service at the breakfast.Access to the sauna facilities
No coffee or tea facilities in the room. The room was a bit on the small size.
I had room 44, supposedly sea view, but there there was a big tree directly in front of the only window. So I could barely see the sea. I wouldn't have upgraded to that room, if I would've known that.
No room ServiceNo water BoilerNo Bar
The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is also clean. Location is good - near to Ozeaneum and the monastery.
The room description said that I will be able to see the sea from window. However, this wasn't true since the view was blocked by a big tree.
Gorgeous building, nice staff, great location, nice to have the coffee roasters on site. Would have been nicer to have a fridge and coffee machine or water kettle in the room.
The shower had a fixture containing the knobs that sticks out into the already small space -- you bump into it very easily.
Nice hotel, close to the waterfront, good breakfast. Walking distance to everything in the town. Great place to start from when discovering Rügen and its surroundings.
Minus - we lived in the Annex, across the street from the hotel itself. But it was quiet and a bit from their restaurant, so perhaps a blessing in disguise.
Water view room. Very bright and airy. Free bottled water. Nice hotel bar and an attached bar/restaurant. This hotel is close to all the tourist attractions, yet it is still in a quiet place.
There is no on-site parking. You have to park at the public parking building. Not a big deal, 5 minute walk.
location
Can be noisy at night due to restaurant having tables at front of hotel serving drinks to midnight
Good localisation
In my opinion breakfast was not good. Cigarette smelling coffee. I mean it was not very bad, it was edible, but in that class of hotel I expect more. The apartment was hot and muggy. I appreciated that there was a fan in the room, but in such case the air conditioning is a must.
