Hôtel Restaurant Kuentz

A fascinating idyll in a quiet location with very friendly staff. We opted for their dinner which was exceptional and very welcome on a very long journey on our way from Rome! Loved the Napoleanic theme and fascinating array of photographs hanging in the reception areas. Lovely breakfast too before heading off on the next leg of our journey.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, however my bed was very close to the hotel boiler which was noisy. Luckily, I was too tired to effect me too badly!

Ok value for money - there is no charger for electric cars nearby.

I asked for charging possibility of electric car and was told that it is right opposite the hotel. Unfortunately this was not the case. Although there is a gas station, no possibility to charge my car. I had to find a charger further away. I would have chosen the hotel without charger, just adapting my travel plans. Now I feel taken advantage of.

The hotel had an excellent location for a short stop during a longer trip, and it is a very charming building. The room was simple and small and comfortable for our 1-night stay but maybe not for longer. But we would like to acknowledge the friendly staff and the restaurant. We had an excellent meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere, which sometimes is not easy to find in more rural parts of France outside of the peak season. You could tell that the restaurant is popular also among locals.We also enjoyed the breakfast and thought that it had enough goid options.

Room was clean as was shower room. WiFi worked ok in room. Typical French restaurant with a reasonably good value menu. Busy so possibly best to book beforehand. Drinks available on arrival. Breakfast was good value (for me at least!)

Our room was much too small. We were on motorcycles and there was just simply not enough space to deposit our luggage, helmets, jackets etc. Just a one night stay hotel in my opinion. We were there in late September. I didn’t notice an air conditioning unit in our room so could be a problem in the summer.Lack of communication between reception and breakfast staff meant that there was no gluten-free bread or rolls for my wife at breakfast even though I requested same and they confirmed beforehand.

lovely big hotel,, good size room with balcony but not the best view looking over eating terrace,,, situated on a main road although set back was still a little noise but not deal breaker,,eating on site was really nice good food helpful staff, we couldn't really understand menu but the waiting on girl was very helpful,,

Location was good, the room spatious enough even if not a double superior.Free parking.

Restaurant and breakfast were very good. Everything is clean, spacious. Everyone was really kind.

We had a room in the roof with only velux windows. Didn’t matter for one night.

easy check in, room was nice and clean, Ideal for our needs. the parking was on private land in front of the hotel, ideal location for touring the area, restaurant in the evening was busy, allways a good sign, the food was very good, breakfast was good,

breakfast was fine and Dinner was good.

I have stayed there for many years so if I am returning means it is to my satisfaction

Perfect mid-point for my on-ward journey.

Staff didn't speak much English (not I French), this made ordering food from the very French menu difficult. More suitable to people with a knowledge of the language perhaps.

Wonderful hospitality by very nice staff. Comfortable clean rooms with all necessary amenities. Delicious food at the restaurant. And a loved the style of the interior. Definitely recommended!

Plenty of parking and room had a balcony

Got shown to my room, then didn't see any staff members again..... it was weird.Tried the bar to get a drink ..... nobody there?Restaurant....... nobody there?Not a bad hotel just a weird experience.Had to go to the garage over the road to get food.

Room too small

The staff was nice, the facilities were a bit out of date. Maybe the weather was so hot, and the rooms were very, very hot.

Facilities are a bit too old.

The location is good if you do not want to be in the city, but there is not much to walk around and next to the hotel is busy road with a gas station just across.

We had food poisioning in the hotel restaurant. The rooms are small and no airconditioning. Many small fixtures were fallen apart or not working. The carpeting in the halls is with stains.

This is a very quirky hotel with an enormous outside eating area. The food is excellent and obviously the locals come here to dine. The rooms are not large, but clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Thé breakfast was excellent !Thé location of my room was perfect for a silent ambiance except during the day with the road in front of the hotel but it’s a small detail.

Nothing for the services

Stayed just a night. Beautiful property set in a pretty village. The food was good and the staff friendly, maked me feel at home. Thanks for the hospitality. Don't forget to get the ice cream cake for dessert, it was scrumptious. I would love to return if I am back in that area.
