    Pros +

    • The property is lovely and quiet. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed walking our dogs around the area and our meal in the restaurant was very good.
    • It was a great finding! We loved the rustic style, and the location, and having 2 separate spaces for kids and parents. We arrived late (near 9pm), but were able to find food in the restaurant, next to the Lodges. Breakfast was also worth it.
    • Village's simplicity, comfort of the past century, lovely dinner.

    Cons -

    • We stayed there on an extremely hot day (34 degrees) and night. The units are not equipped for that heat.
    • Waiters could have been serving guests a bit faster, the shower could have been better cleaned of previous guests' hair and breakfast could have included some salad and vegetables, but in general those were just nuisances which don't spoil the big picture.
    • Not fussed about the restaurant would eat out

Our extended family of 14 recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Les Loges de l'Ecomusée D'Alsace. The hotel's charming setup, featuring multiple buildings that authentically replicate traditional Alsatian half-timbered houses, provided a unique and immersive experience. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we highly recommend Les Loges de l'Ecomusée D'Alsace for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable stay in the region.

We did encounter a minor issue during our visit. In an effort to make things more comfortable for one of our families with a young child, an extra bed was moved between apartments. Unfortunately, the situation led to some tension with the reception, which we felt could have been handled more calmly and diplomatically.

Very interesting location almost inside the ecomuseum. Traditional houses are devided into few appartments, where you will be staying. THere is a decent restaturnant on the location where breakfast and dinner is served. Quality is decent, variety is ok, but not outstanding. It will be less choise if more people are around, on the weekdays we even had a fresh orange juice to squezze, but for the WE it was removed to avoid crowd around.

Hope for a quiet neigbours, apartments inside the same house have very bad noise isolation between rooms.

Nice and authentic place to stay. In one house there are 4 boxest, each has their entry. Each box is has a living space with sofa and tv, bathroom, on the floor there is a sleeping space with several beds. One box is roomy, for exemple suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids.

    Superb chalet accommodation.

Breakfast buffet had all been eaten but we were dining late. The staff had no qualms about removing the charges even though we had already had a coffee and fruit juice.

This hotel is super cute and you are going to be immersing in that farm/village simple lifestyle. The lodges are 2 floors. Living room and bathroom at the bottom and the bedroom at the top.It is cosy and spacious and very quite at night time. Perfect for a good night of sleep. The bed was comfortable, towels and sheets were of good quality. I had a great time there.

Only thing was the shower floor, grouts and walls need a better cleaning, you can see the black mold dots, where the water accumulates.

Relaxing atmosphere! Coffee in room! Table and chairs outside! Adjacent to Ecomusée ! Good to have a fan in the room thank you!

    7MoniquePosted on: 8-8-2024

Beautiful surroundings and a sweet little house

There were not enough outdoors chairs and tables. You had to drag them from other places ?

    7ChrysanthiPosted on: 8-5-2024

The outdoors space is great for kids and dogs, we enjoyed the porch and the table outside.

The set up of the furniture was tight, there was not much space to move around the beds. The air circulation is not great and it can get stuffy.

Lovely peaceful country house accommodation with all the modern amenities. Nice restaurant on site. Great location to explore the area.

    All good.

    Excellent shower! Good breakfast buffet.

No airco nor any fly windows (mosquitos).

    10AgnieszkaPosted on: 7-22-2024

wonderful atmosphere! nice and helpful staff, clean rooms (they are a bit old but it only adds to the atmosphere) quiet neighborhood and contact with nature, cows in the field nearby and clattering storks added charmParking

    8RolandPosted on: 7-20-2024

It was like literally walking into an old farm town. Rooms are basic, but everything you need for a short stay.

Would be nice if there were nets in front of the windows to keep the flies out and moskitos out.

    Silent and nice landscape

The hotel consists of small houses. Everywhere in the room, bathroom, walls, floors, ceilings, stairs and even the bed was full of bugs. We could never sleep because of the bugs. The staff did not speak English and we had a hard time communicating. The hotel is in a deserted place and we had a hard time arriving in the dark. It is very difficult to reach without a car.

    8WimPosted on: 5-16-2024

Great breakfast with fresh orange juice, good variety of options. Rooms very suitable for families. Cleaning could be a lot better. Very helpful and friendly staff!

Would be nice to have less spiders, webs and dust in the room.

    6FernandaPosted on: 12-29-2023

    Fast check in

We did not receive enough towels and when I asked more, they just said that there was a problem and they could not do anything. There was a emergency light in the room that really bothered us during the whole night.
