Location, room size, dinner & breakfast, the village
I didn’t have enough time for massage
Breakfast was fantastic. Spa area was very pleasant and the service was fantastic. For a great price too!
Beautiful surroundings- really nice staff, great food
No airco in the room we had- as it was a heatwave that was uncomfortable
Boutique hotel located in a lovely, small French village. Lovely room and property. We enjoyed using the spa facilities which were excellent given a hotel of this size. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful.
We arrived via bicycle in the early afternoon and there was no food available in town or at the hotel.
Lovely old building set at the top of a tiny village.
No air conditioning! In a 4-star hotel!!! How is that even possible? We went to escape the heat. It never occurred to me to check. (There was a fan, but still…)Also, very creaky floors under the carpet.Breakfast was very expensive (not included) at 18 euros. We didn’t eat any meals there.
There is a great view from the terrace over the vineyards and Rhine valley because hotel is situated slightly above the village. Room was big and well appointed. When you reserve the sauna, you have it for yourself! Well marked vineyards walking trails (possibly also for mountain bikes) pass immediately by the hotel.
If there is anything to mention in this category then the squeaking floor was a small nuisance.
Well located, clean and friendly staff
Restaurant was closed for duration of our stay
Great location in this quiet little village, amid fields of vines, quite scenic. Just 2.5 km from the Haut Koenigsbourg castle. Room was large, comfy bed, reasonable size bathroom. Being short staffed, their restaurant was operating at lower capacity and was full when we got there. They were gracious enough to serve us dinner in our room instead. Odd detail: the modern utilitarian furniture, like what you typically find in international chain hotels, in the whole place clashed with the overall spirit of the building and the place.
Staff very accommodating, room was great, very clean, spa, restaurant was much improved from our visit 6 months ago.
Everything was great!
It is located in the heart of the beautiful and ancient Alsace area with magical views and good access. The ambience is very cosy, but there is always a place for further improvements. The breakfast is modest and not refilled properly. The double bed was actually two adjacent single beds. It was not comfortable for a couple to sleep in the middle. Also, the air ventilation was not effective enough in the room. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and made many great memories. Specifically, the dinner was superb.
Nice area, good food, good car charging facilities, nice game room but has even more potential.
Diverse decoration styles, no pool, no availability for earlier dinner time with children,
The room was very big and confortable, the breakfast had options for all tastes and there is wanderful room close to the bar where to relax playing different games.
Goed buffet. Ok.Restaurant is prima.
Weinig plaats in de bar.
Very nice and cozy place, beautiful surroundings.Personal helpful and friendly.Delicious breakfast and dinner.
Location in quiet village close to beautiful countryside. Food in restaurant was exceptional. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.
The dinner was delicious.
The rooms are very old and smell really bad. The floor and doors creak terribly. The breakfast did not impress me at all.
The bed was comfortable, we slept very well. The room was very clean. Staff spoke English which we appreciated and they appreciated our attempts at French. Staff were professional and friendly. Dinner was very excellent. Breakfast was excellent and the staff member on duty in the breakfast room was absolutely lovely. The village is stunning, tudor architecture in perfectly preserved condition.
Everything was perfect
