    Pros +

    • Beautiful hotel and room, very good breakfast and warm hospitality
    • Spa and swimming pool are a plus. Breakfast is very rich and high quality. Very good value for money…
    • A hotel with a limited number of rooms, located halfway between the beautiful Alsace villages, a very clean hotel, charming and very helpful staff, the breakfast is very tasty, includes everything you need - excellent croissants, brioche bread, muesli, cheeses and cold cuts, eggs and more. The hotel has a pool, a dry and wet sauna an for a massage. - A beautiful hotel!

    Cons -

    • Everything was excellent except for the fact that there were no vegetables at breakfast (which was excellent!! as I mentioned) and that the jacuzzi did not work in the pool area.
    • We arrived and were told restaurant closed. Bar was also closed. Had to travel 5 km to get food. We should have been informed beforehand that restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday
    • Everything was lovely

It was nice to have a pool to relax after a day of visiting nearby Haut-Koenigsbourg castle and the wineries in St Hippolyte. The absolute highlight was the Restaurant Joséphine in the hotel. We enjoyed an excellent menu with accompanying wines.

    8AnnePosted on: 4-2-2024

great pool, very nice modern room

a little attention for the dog (at least a blanket or a food bowl - as we get in other hotels accepting dogs) would have been welcomed.

Very nice room, with a balcony. The pool with jacuzzi also top!

The toilet is separate from the bathroom but it has no sink/basin for washing hands.

The ambiance of the hotel. Bedroom clean and comfortable, tasteful decor throughout the hotel . Spa and pool perfect for relaxing. Both restaurants were amazing ! Looking forward to returning.

    Friendly staff

We only had a bath on our room. No shower. Which made hard to get wash

The room was spacious and comfortable, I liked the view to the mountain.

Breakfast is too expansive and the staff attitude was indifferent

Clean, spacious and stylish room with a lovely shower.

We were not aware when booking that the restaurant was closed Monday & Tuesday. Consequently we were sent to a restaurant down the road, but had to get there quickly so we could get a table. This meant we then had no time to enjoy the spa facilities, so actually wasted our money choosing a spa hotel with restaurant, neither of which we could benefit from.

We liked everything about the property from the moment we arrived. Although we did not have time to use the pool and spa facilities we would definitely love to go again to spend more time there.I am coeliac and cannot eat red meat but it was no problem whatsoever. We chose to dine in the gourmet restaurant Josephine and we opted for the taster menu which was magnificent and lived up to our expectation. It was the ultimate foodie experience and was worth every penny. The staff were amazing and recommended some fabulous wines from the Alsace region. The surrounding area is beautiful and full of quaint buildings and wineries.

I could not find fault with the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, with newly pool and wellness area. Large room with separate bathroom and toilet which is good when you are a family travelling together. Both our rooms had balcony with view of the countryside.Walking distance to town centre where we could find a restaurant open.Nicely located on the wine route, and also close to Haut Königsburg castle which is worth a visit.

We were disappointed that the hotel restaurant and bar was all closed during our stay, but we were lucky to get a table at a restaurant in town.
