- The sunset was amazing
- Location was great, by the sea in a quiet area.
- The pool area is fantastic!
Cons -
- Wish the pool was opened late. The staff was a bit... too stronge. I was told that I'm ridiculous for not paying 3 euros on my credit card. I don't have a traveler's card. Got pissy because they had to make change out of 5 euros.
- The swimming pool was closed and I was not informed. I specifically chose this hotel because of the swimming pool. We were there in April and the whole swimming pool area looked like it needed renovation. Also the bathroom had no ventilation and the air inside was not smelling very nice. In my opinion, the price was too high for the conditions we received, also considering it was April.
- The hotel could use a modern make over; new wallpaper in rooms especially and new curtains in the hallways.

A/C was fantastic the weather was around 37° had no problems sleeping
No shampoo
It is in a great location, close to many restaurants and beach. The pool area was nice and quiet...
My fridge didn't work, although I did report it, no one came to fix it.
The saving grace was the allocation of an excellent room No 304 on the top floor with excellent views from two aspects. Location was great near to the marina and numerous restaurants. Excellent variety for breakfast.
I booked dinner in the restaurant the first night and was offered a choice of two set menus. Both options featured tinned or jarred carrots and cauliflower which were grim!Breakfast included bacon and eggs in a heated container for self service. Unfortunately there was no heat under the container so the contents were cold each day.
Great location and loved having the pool.
The rooms are very dated, beds hard pillows very thin. The rooms are clean and cleaners are fab. This hotel could be amazing, if it just had a make over! Dated decoration and a lot of broken doors and just general ware and tare that needs attention.
Location perfect, amazing interiors and nice roof top bar and restaurant
I accidentally left a sundress, I placed it on the left side curtain hook to dry but then overlooked to pack it next morning. I messaged management after we left to ask them to locate it and post it on (100% know where I left it) they advised no dress in room, allege they checked?? Very disappointed as this suggests their chamber maid staff must be very untrustworthy so, be careful and, I suggest the manager speak again to the staff!! This is not good for business, if the hotel remedy this and redeem this situation then I’ll happily re-review. They have my address to return the dress to me.

The location was great we were just staying in the wrong hotel. San Leone is wonderful & we would have loved it apart from where we were staying. The service was appalling & we left a night earlier than planned. However, the housekeeping staff & breakfast waiting staff were very pleasant.
We booked a deluxe double room with sea view, we were given a sub standard room with twin beds. When we told Reception this wasn't what we had booked they sent housekeeping to put a double sheet over the 2 single beds! When we complained, the very rude Receptionist told us there weren't any double beds in the entire hotel. We asked why had we been given the option to book a room with a large double bed on the booking.com site? We asked to speak to the manager & were told she would be there in an hour. After two hours we went to look at another hotel, when we returned we were given a room with a double bed with a partial sea view. There were only 2 chairs on the balcony, so we asked for a table which did arrive whilst we were out, but they then took the chairs away. The safety deposit box didn't work & the poor chap who came to look at it seemed to think that a bic biro would repair it, unsurprisingly it didn't. The receptionist was particularly rude & when we called down to ask to speak to the manager about the air conditioning not working in the first room or the safe deposit box not working she hung up. We wasted 5 hours trying to sort these problems out & were made to feel extremely uncomfortable as though our requests were unreasonable and we were just difficult customers. The following day we tried talking to a different Receptionist, who also fobbed us off with the line "Yes it's a terrible hotel" - he was correct. We told him we didn't have wifi in our room, his attitude was equally dismissive - "no wifi apart from Reception." The same man gave us our pool towels but failed to tell us the pool was closed - this was mid-afternoon. We decided to leave a day earlier than planned as we felt totally unwelcome. There was also a terrible smell of cheap disinfectant in the corridor.
POOL very great, clear water_ Breakfast a perfect Buffet _ View beautiful
To put on the Swimcap
We really loved the location and the pool. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was well catered and a good variety.
There's good parking, but we had issues, as there was often no space, due to outsiders using the car park at night. The WiFi was also very weak. The pillows were uncomfortable.
very central and good pool
maintenance is clearly missing, air conditioning not working enough, wifi not reaching the rooms. Very noisy, it is possible to hear everything from the room aside. Some personnel are very friendly and dedicated to solve the problems, others answer you to go to the lobby to connect to the wifi.A Wi-Fi repeater it is worth few €.
it's very clean and has a good position in Sanleone. The pool and its view are great and there is parking spots for the guests. The breakfast staff is very kind.
we had some issues and discussions in different times: the air conditioning is not controllable from the room, the button was removed to avoid guests to change it and the staff wouldn't change the temperature on request. I was charged different times for 3 people when we were 2, and discussed it many times with the staff, which didn't fix the issue in their systems. The structure is old and not very curated, especially the restaurant and the common areas. One of the night receptionists is very rude and when registering the second guest, he wanted to renegotiate my rate, discussing the price in front of other guests. Even with the "do not disturb" option turned On, the cleaning staff rings and knocks on the door continuously, until you finally leave the room.
Convenient location to explore San Leone. Nice big pool and big room which are clean. Breakfast was great and the girl at the pool bar was very helpful and welcoming.
Despite booking and paying on Booking.com, the concierge insisted that I hadn’t paid (and the woman before me who challenged him) when in fact I had. This was tantum out to bullying me into paying twice and wasn’t a good experience
Beautifully appointed hotel, very comfortable and with a fabulous pool. Rooms were spacious and the whole place was nicely decorated and looking very smart. Well worth staying here (taxi trip (12E) out of Agrigento if you want a pool …. And believe me you do !!Lots of very nice restaurants a short walk away.
There were very few guests at the hotel which meant that there were not many facilities operating ie - no snack bar, no bar (I couldn’t buy a glass of wine when I arrived, even though the bar was open - as a Rotary Club event was about to commence), no tea making facilities in the room but on request kettle etc was delivered to the room. Possibly COVID is still having its effects as there seems to be only a skeleton staff.
Not great hotel bit run down need upgrade the building need colour in building and room
room is run down need fitting the hotel up , breakfast need updating put sausage and heniz baked beans , need be more fruit and vegetables like strawberry, carrot, blueberry etc
location near the beach
Terrible smell in hotel rooms, dirty in the room, walpaper falling off from wall. it is mich worst then 2star hotels. in outside pool you need to use a cap.
Pool, Breakfast, View, Location, Parking
This is a really nice hotel and a good location. Within easy access to restaurants and the beach. There is a small beach within 5 mins walk and 2 larger beaches (farthest was 30 mins away). The staff are very helpful and are happy to book taxis for you and will even try and get a taxi driver who speaks your language for ease. Unfortunately the pool was not open despite it being warm weather. When we arrived we were told it was out of season but the website does not advertise what this season is. The entire bar was shut and had no lights on which was disappointing, but we just went out instead. The rooms are advertised as sound proof but you could hear other guests snoring. Had we not been in the room for a few days already we would have asked to move rooms. So unfortunately the rooms are not sound proof. The view from the room was lovely, especially at night time. The sunset was amazing. I would visit again, but in the mid summer months as the location of the pool overlooking the sea would be amazing, if it was open.
