Villa Angela Hotel & Spa

It was spotless clean, drinks were cheap and food was okay.

The place is far away from any restaurants/bars/piers. Taxi from the pier/town to the hotel was $50 euros, so imagine paying that twice a day. Also the hotel is meant to be for older people, beds were very very uncomfortable. Last but not least, our stay included the breakfast and the only day we decided to give it a try, we were denied and had to buy sandwiches.

The staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home, they were kind and always there to help me with booking activities, exploring the island, anything! Beyond grateful, it feels like a family. Rooms are comfortable, big bathroom, I really enjoyed my stay. Food is good

Very good location, Citara beach was 10 minutes walk away. Poseidon Terme is situated in the same location, close to Citara Beach. The atmosphere of the villa is very intimate, the stuff is very kind and helpful.

Nothing disturbing, your holiday will be perfect if you are not looking for faults. Ischia is a beautiful island, enjoy it!

Excellent service. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant had delicious food and service also. Location is right on the bus route and very convenient.

Very nice accommodation. Wr had half board, and this is very a good deal. Unless if you're with very young kids, it's a pleasant (<15 min) walk to the beach.

This hotel is mostly a place for older folks. Can be a plus, depending on your age.

Everything was great. The staff was extra friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and spacious with big bathroom. The food was 10/10!

The Hotel has a great garden that was a real pleasure to spend the evenings in. The pool is another highlight on the hotel, I do believe them when they say it's thermal water. When we arrived they presented us with 3 rooms and let us choose the one we like. All of them had a lovely balcony with a view.

The bathroom vent was really loud and made random noises. Generally speaking the hotel was outdated, you could argue that it's a style but I feel like it was more just outdated. The floors were paved with tiles and this made cleaning easier but generally we felt that the cleaning was a bit lacking. The breakfast was a little lacking with mostly sweet and sugary things. Also the coffee was an acquired taste.

The staff was very helpful. They helped arrange my ferry transfer and early morning cab. I would have missed my flight if they didn’t let me know that the Forio ferry was not running at 6:20am due to it being a holiday. They also prepared breakfast for me since I was leaving before breakfast would be served at the hotel.

There were a lot of biting flies in the room and they left welts larger than what mosquitoes do. I tried to keep the room cold and killed a few before I went to bed, but at night I was Vite on my face and arms. I think mosquito netting would have improved my stay greatly.

The stuff was very nice and polite. It was a quite and nice place. Also like that there were an inside and outside pool. The one inside had hot water and hydro massage. The breakfast was pretty good.

It’s a little bit distant from the sea side. You either need to take the bus (which passes close to hotel) or the car to get there.

It is a great old-style hotel which may have its best years behind but it still works perfectly! The staff was super nice and helpful, you can buy bus tickets at the reception. We stayed at the big rooftop apartment with a huge terrace, equipped with sun beds, table, chairs and umbrella, it had great view of the mountains and sea too. The room and bathroom was very clean, the cleaning lady comes everyday. The breakfast had a lot of sweet options but also there was cheese, ham, hard boiled eggs and tomatoes. The garden is beautiful and even though it is located near a busy street it is not that noisy. It is located 15 min walk from the beach (steep hill down).

The AC was old, working but very slightly, it took a lot of time for the room to cool down to okay temperature, it never got chilly though. The bed matterace was REALLY hard. The outside pool needs to be cleaned more often, as there was a lot of sand inside and the wall tiles were unpleasantly slippery/molded? The wifi didn’t really work at the top floor we stayed at.

The staff is very nice, they are always smile and do their best.

The breakfast is not that good. They had a same things every day, and they didn’t even had an omlet. But the coffee is excellent!

The property is fantastic clean and very green. Stuff is extremely helpful and friendly. The garden is beautiful. Food was good as well. We felt like home and definitely coming back next year!

I did like the style of it on the first place: interior design is very simple yet very clean and stylish. Old wooden furniture and white walls, comfortable white bedding and soft towels were very good quality. We really enjoyed the view also. Our room had beautiful view and big balcony. And it’s easy to get anywhere around the island, bus stop is right next to the hotel.

Very nice personnel, good location, bus stop near the hotel, pleasant garden and view of the mountains, big and comfortable rooms, cleaning lady was very friendly, large bed, useful terrace with plenty of space to dry towels etc. It is bit dated, could do with renewal but for us it was very comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Breakfast was lacking more fruit and healthier options.

Loved the ambiance and service..Luigi the driver was great and provided a very good island tour. Service in dining room is excellent

Nice pretty looking hotel in pleasant area, rooms were a decent size and beds were comfy. Nice pool with lots if sun beds and barman was happy to deliver drinks to the poolside.

Badly in need of modernisation, bathrooms are fairly old and could go with a good clean and update, very old dated furniture in common areas. Not much choice at breakfast - lots if croissants, cakes and bread but not too much in the way of healthy food apart from a bit of muesli. Bedrooms were superficially cleaned and clean towels put out but no one actually seemed to clean the bathroom for example or flick a duster around.

Garden, staff, location, closest beach (Cava de Isole) is 10 min by walk. Bus station is front of the hotel. Forio center is 10 min by bus.

Staff were amazing, even gave us a lift to the ferry. Food was amazing. Bed was comfortable. Gardens were beautiful. Would stay again.

Some furniture was a bit dated, but did not distract from a wonderful stay.

.Quite, the pool was warm , the spa was hot and l loved it , we have been to ischia about 7 time , just live the island , staff very friendly
