Hotel Villa Mena

Hotel Villa Mena is a cute family run hotel about a 15 or 20 minute walk from Forio. The staff were very friendly and tried their best to speak English (as I can’t speak much Italian). I would recommend having dinner at the restaurant. The food was the best I had in Forio, authentic and good value.

Short walk into town and beach

No beach towels no Kleenex’s . Wifi is very poor on that side of island

Close to town and beach. The breakfast was plentiful and the old couple making and serving the breakfast were really lovely! Could use a refurb and an update to the hotel.

The pool had algae all around the sides and the bottom. The hot tub had scum and hair floating on the top throughout our 4 day stay. The shower in the room floods even after a quick 5 minutes and the tv was very small and discoloured. The toilet seat was also cracked and there was a large hole in the wall by the bed. The bathroom window was not easy to open n close. The young lad when we checked in, wasn't very helpful and didn't help when we had confusion finding our room. The hotel does not match the pictures on booking.com and is quite dated. Smoking is allowed around the pool and the pool toilets had no toilet paper or soap. The hotel does have a restaurant but you need to book in for the dinner by 11am that day or else you aren't able to eat there. Could do with a kettle in the room to make tea n coffee in the morning.

The place was very good , very clean , swimming pool was fine, people are very kind and is family owned what makes you feel home .

There's no fridge in the room

A family-run hotel full of holiday makers who often have been coming for years. We felt very welcome. At all hours there was someone available for an espresso or to answer a question or help order a taxi. We wanted to do a private circumnavigation of the island and Angelo organized it all, with his lovely son Nello captaining the boat. Our room was comfy, AC was powerful, and the walk to the beach was easy.

Nice little hotel with very friendly staff. Only a 10 minute walk to Forio town with lots of bars and restaurants.

Really liked the sweet italian couple that owned the place and the location, close to the bus stop and within walking distance from Forio town. Good AC and clean big room

Shower wasnt working very well, and the bed was very hard. Almost no english spoken by the staff, still helpful and friendly tho

The property is of incredible value, especially for a solo traveller. 10 mins walk from the beach and other amenities, very good breakfast, very clean rooms and all in all peaceful environment. The family running this place are lovely warm people who make you feel welcomed and will help you with anything. I hope to be back

Perfectly located in the Forio region of the island of Ischia, Hotel Villa Mena is very close to bus stops, bars, restaurants and to the Chiaia beach. It's very clean, the staff is great and I would highly recommend it.

Good location, a short walk away from the restaurants and shops. Clean room and not a lot of guests so felt like we had the place to ourselves a lot of the time.

Rooms were very basic, but you get what you pay for, and it was quite noisy late at night whilst trying to sleep. Also you have to wear swimming hats in the pool if they tell tou to but this seems to be a bit hit and miss.

Very close to a very beautiful beach. Bus stop very close. You can go by walk to the centre. There is a lovely seacoast way to walk on.People are very kind and helpful when you need. Very beautiful landscape.

The location was close to the Forio beach and we enjoyed the daily breakfast. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis and the property always had a staff member visible.

Nothing to comment on, but the mattress may have been a little soft on the bunk bed.

I liked the room. It was simple but everything functioned well and was spacious with a Seaview.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like as such. The accommodation was good for a mid budget holiday. Fantastic pool!

the location of the apartment is excellent, only a 5-10 minute easy walk to the beach. The bus stop is a 5 minute easy walk away. The guesthouse is surrounded by flowers and greenery, clean and tidy. coffee flakes, sweet spreads. Helpful staff, they even allowed us to leave our luggage and go for a swim before check-in.
