    Pros +

    • It is a lovely resort located steps away from the bus line or within a 20 min walk to the port of Ischia or the Castle. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was attentive and friendly. The included breakfast was an incredible value and had an expansive offering, incl. eggs, cereal, sweets, yogurt, and fruit.
    • Two seeming pools, not too crowded
    • Hotel Pineta is definitely worth visiting - the staff were wonderful and very helpful - breakfast great - location really good and easy to get to. Definitely recommend staying there.

    Cons -

    • There were pools at a colder temperature than what I would like. In addition, being at the end of May, I would have thought they would be open longer than 7p.
    • Room on the 1st floor near canteen is very small and dark...
    • Only thing was the pillows weren’t very comfortable but bed was great.

We recently stayed at this lovely hotel and, while it could use a bit of renovation, the experience was still fantastic. The building and rooms show signs of aging, but the warm and welcoming atmosphere made up for it. What truly stood out was the staff – they were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Their hospitality really added a special touch to the trip.We had the half-board option, and I have to say, the dinners were absolutely delicious! Even though I’m not usually a fan of Italian cuisine, I found myself enjoying every meal. The flavors were so rich and the dishes were well-prepared, making me rethink my stance on Italian food. By the end of the stay, I can confidently say I now appreciate and even love Italian cuisine, thanks to the hotel's fantastic dining!Overall, if you're looking for a place with great service and amazing food, this hotel is a great choice, despite needing a bit of a refresh.

Lovely hotel, immaculately clean, and super helpful staff.

I think I had the only room without a balcony, but in the grand scheme of things, it wasn’t a problem.

The room was very clean with a regular housekeeping program, the location was amazing, you can have access to all over the island through buses and taxi boats. Night life near the Porto and Castello Aragonese are the best of the island. The staff was extremely helpful, available and kind

The breakfast was very fresh and delicious every day but it was always the same things and very simple. Maybe it can be improved

The location was wonderful, as was the staff. Super helpful and nice. The pools were nice, albeit smaller than the pictures show. Room was comfy and clean, and the location was very good. It was a 10 min walk to the centre and/or beach. The aircon was heavenly!!!

The restaurant was very businesslike. No music, and the (very friendly!) staff kept hovering over you. There’s also no outside place to eat, sir you’ll have to take your meals inside. There were a lot of nice restaurants nearby so it was not a problem, but I missed a little bit of cosiness.I agree with others that the interior was a bit dated, but that wasn’t an issue for me.Also: if you want to rent a scooter (which I highly recommend!) you have to pay in cash. Just so you know!

Two beautiful pools, located in a central place.

I didn’t like that we had to wear hair nets in the pool and there were no coffee and tea making facilities. Breakfast was a bit limited. Staff were not overly welcoming.

    10RazvanPosted on: 7-16-2024

The hotel staff, especially Alberto who was helpful and always eager to help with luggages or offering a small coffee. The pool area and overall experience whithin the hotel was amazing experience.

    9ColinPosted on: 7-15-2024

The room was great for a single occupant with a nice balcony and two pools to choose from.

The room didn't have air conditioning.

A very well run quiet hotel perfectly placed between the port and old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A gem of a place

    8EvaPosted on: 7-6-2024

Very nice and friendy stuff, swimming pool was nice and not packed, great location to the old city center, fair “car and bike rental” prices, cleaning room drvivej daily, great value for the money.

Breakfast was very poor, mostly sweet and dry cakes, when you come later for breakfast you have not many options.Noise in the rooms and hall early in the morning, doors seal nothing. Hall lights are “on” all the night so the light goes inside the room. Not nice beaches in the near distance.

    10DavidPosted on: 7-6-2024

spacious, clean, great location between port and old town near smaller beaches. Staff attentive and helpful.

    nothing , all very good.

    8ClivePosted on: 6-30-2024

Excellent central location pool and garden areas extremely well kept, overall cleanliness of the hotel is very good.air con is good and nice and quiet.

Breakfast was basic but adequate, would like to see some fruit available.

    9SidneyPosted on: 6-26-2024

Nice hotel set in pleasant gardens with swimming pools. Spacious clean room with picturesque tiled and balcony with good views

Breakfast - Disappointing . By 9am may run out of food other than cake ! Overall the breakfast on offer was predominantly cake , awful “ orange “ coloured juice, occasional cheese, salami, boiled eggs. The croissants were nice but gone some days by 9am . Given how pleasant the hotel they need to improve their breakfast quality by a lot !

    8SuePosted on: 6-19-2024

Loved the room, balcony, pool, gardens. trees. Easy access to transport and local shopsstaff friendly and efficient. Reception helpful and smiling.

Breakfast - too much cake, not enough fruit, or eggsStaff a little formal.

    Pretty hotel, lovely location.

Air conditioning in my room virtually useless. Walls thin, I could hear every word of a telephone call in the next room. Breakfast basic, and breakfast manager very rude. Didn’t know you have to wear a swimming cap in the pool, so got told off when I jumped in without one. I wasn’t told on arrival and it’s not part of the hotel policies on Booking.com.
