Hotel Costa Citara

We had the most wonderful stay. All the staff including reception Anita was super amazing. Staff also very helpful. My little daughter Nia especially loved the swimming pool & Anita and her daughter. The food was great value and lunch/dinner was perfect when we didn't want to leave. Air con is fairly old. But everything else was so good. bella <3 will defiantly come back! ciao

We spent in the hotel 1 week in July. The acommodation was very nice and cozy, everywhere was clean. Breakfasts were good - a lot of sweet cakes, croissants, bread, one type of cheese and salami, fruits, vegetables - only tomatos. The outside pool was perfect. The inside thermal pool we did not try, because was very hot in the summer. In front of hotel is bus station, which is the best way how to travel around the island - you buy week ticket, it costs cca 13,50 EUR. The Citara beach is normal, nothing special. We traveled each day to another beaches and places. I highly recommend small villages and beach in St. Angelo - lovely place to spent here all day.

Clean Nice staff

Location wasn't the best, 15min walk to the beach

All the hotel staff were extremely pleasant and kind. The location is great. The bus stop is right next to the hotel and Citara beach is very close.

We like almost everything. Location, delicious food, comfort, room.

The only one thing which was not pleasant is different price announced for the dinner (at their advertisement before the restaurant) and the real bill. We haven’t ordered smth extra. The info on the advertisement was not correct. Our friends who left the hotel 1 days later than we asked the reason. We haven’t checked in time the difference, it’s even not the question of price. I think it’s more about trust. We do hope that it was by mistake only, because everything else was really nice.

Wasnt bad except last minute that rhey charge us 20 euro for sonething we never had

Last day they made a mistake snd charge me 20 Euro for the drinks we never hadIt was 6am the guy at the reception could not speak English i tried to explain yo him that we never eat ot drink at the hotel except the breakfast which was included in the price he wouldn’t understand. I did not wanted to loose the boat so just to go I had to pay him 20 euroStill I do not know why they put somebody else drinks to out room

Everything was really good, it was a nice stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the pools. Air conditioning is a big plus and also smart TV. The girls at reception were really kind and helpful although we were speaking just in English. Buffet Breakfast - many options to choose from and morning croissants were just exceptional (I miss them ?)

I would recommend adding some veggies to the breakfast. There were just cherry tomatoes and people who prefer healthier nutrition would be really grateful. Breakfast is from 8:00-10:00. When you come at 9:30 there are just leftovers.

would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

On the main road. very noisy. long walk down steep steps to the beach. shuttle bus like a death trap. staff were (apart from Angelica) on the whole rude and unaccommodating. the hotel is in need of modernisation. the rooms were NOT clean and the bedding and towels do not get changed often enough.(especially considering we are just out of a pandemic.)

The breakfast was abundant, as well as the dinner at times. The waiters were attentive, polite, and efficient, as well as the receptionists.

The cleaning ladies did not clean the rooms at regular hours, sometimes early in the morning or late in the afternoon, preventing the guests from occupying the rooms before 4pm. They also did not clean the floors and bathroom very well, limiting themselves to making up the bed and changing the towels. After spending the first week at the hotel we expected them to change the bedsheets but they never changed them. However, we never asked them to change the sheets because we accidentally had overheard them complaining about having to change our towels every day. They were very unprofessional. Another negative point is that the hotel makes its guests pay for tap water.

The room was clean and comfortable for the length of my stay. The staff was courteous and helpful. Nice clean outdoor pool and amenities. Free pick up/drop off shuttle to/from Forio port. Bus stop not too far. Walkable distance to Forio.

The breakfast buffet could improve a little including more fresh produces and fruit. It would be good to place the croissants on trays rather then serviettes. Didn't try any of the made to order dishes.

The property is beautiful and clean. Charming and welcoming
