The pool was nice

I booked 8 months in advance for a room with a balcony and a view of the pool. This is what the picture showed on my reservation. The room I got had no view, not even a garden. It was a cement wall. They refused to make a change and refused to compensate. I am a single. The only picture is a single room on the website is beautiful. I feel misled.

The pool area was very relaxing and the location was easy. Reception desk was always staffed and available for any questions. We had a snack at the pool which was lovely. The restaurant I'm sure would be good.

Beautiful hotel with a stunning view of the ocean! We were early for check in and the kind manager Vincenzo allowed us to check in early. We had beautiful ocean front rooms with balconies. The beach was only a 5 min walk down the hill.

True to the pictures which attracted us in first place, Hotel Capizzo provided a very pleasant stay for our family. The reception gave us sea-view rooms next to one another without even having to ask for, paid good attention during our stay, and were even super kind to post forgotten items after we left. The beaches are a nice sunny walk away, with a gentle bit of uphill - much needed for the unavoidable caloric surplus. Good breakfast and ok restaurant, with top alternatives nearby, like 'Da Vito'. Don't go there, the "thermal bath" is not working, a cold pool is of no use in extra season. They should close in September and not advertise the geothermal pool. They refused to change my pre-paid reservation despite their obvious misleading advertisement

May be good enough in summer but much better hotels nearby.

The hotel had a spectacular view and was conveniently close to a bus stop (Imperial) which made touring the island super easy. I kept extending my time (twice) and didn't want to leave. Always looked forward going back at the end of the day since all the staff were wonderful and accommodated all my needs with a smile. Will recommend to my family and friends and come back myself.

Overlooking Citara bay in a very convenient location walking distance to the beach and Poseidon thermal baths. Outdoor space and swimming pool with great view and breakfast with good variety of option included.

Mattress quality could be improved. Water in the bathroom running with low pressure and quite salty. Poor internet connection… so… several details could use some upgrade!

The view is fantastic, especially the sunset. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed, very clean. Nice pool

The location is exceptional and the view even better. You can walk easily to the main road for frequent public busses in both directions. You can also walk to Poseidon Terme or just to Cetara Beach town with many restaurants and beach. We had excellent meals at Molo 82 at Cetara Beach. Dinners at Forio's O' Romantico and Bella Napoli Pizzeria both in town on the main beach road. We came to Ischia for the thermal waters and so went on separate days via the public bus to Negombo, Poseidon and Castiglione. All were wonderful each in their own way. Can't decide if there was "a better". They are each worth a whole day and you won't be sorry! Our room #121 had a generously- sized terrace where we enjoyed sunsets every evening. This was a very nice room.The owner/ managers at the desk were exceptionally helpful in many ways as we needed cabs, advice on weather or directions to the various places we wanted to visit. Always attentive, helpful, caring we had the info we needed. You will be in good hands.

We didn't know the bathroom water in the room is non- potable! There is a small fridge so we could buy water outside and bring it back.The bathroom lighting could be a lot brighter.The breakfast was adequate.

the hotel is really well maintained. clean rooms, lovely gardens and pool area. the staff were lovely and breakfast was nice. lovely view over the water and sunset.

Fantastic view. Excellent pool. Staff were exceptional where nothing was too much trouble. Great beach a short walk away. Buses around the island very close by. Will definitely be coming back.

The panoramic view is beautiful, although you can enjoy that only if you are staying in the seaview room.

In Mountain View room was very noisy: all noise from the kitchen was heard early in the morning, at night. Also the noise of engine of some machine (maybe cooling )

Limited common parts. Very few places to sit outside in shade. Reception area/lounge smelt of a mixture of the kitchen and cleaning materials. A horrible combination. The worst thing about our stay. Came from a 3 star hotel near Sorrento where a lot of fresh fruit was available at breakfast. Virtually no frsh fruit available at Hoel Capizzo. Dont know why there were so many staff at breakfast. Didn’t seem to do anything. Was already coffee at buffet and didn’t offer to makes eggs. Couldnt wait to leave.

Nicely located, very close to bus stop. Breakfast is very good and fresh! Place is very cozy and view is spectacular. It was an excellent stay, beach clubs and restaurants are amazing. Wish we would have stayed longer, will be back! Enjoy the pool, but it’s thermal water and stainless mine and my daughters bathing suites.

We booked a room without a view which turned out to be on the first floor by the pool. Room decor was a bit dated and there was a weak smell of dampness that was unpleasant. The level of English varied between the staff giving us a mixed experience of the level of service.
