Hotel Noris

The location! The hotel is about a block from the water and there is a lovely public beach where I would swim every day and there are also beach clubs a block away with some very good sea front restaurants. The hotel is easy walking distance to sites.

Room is a decent size for two people. Bathroom is a bit on the smaller side but it was what we needed for the days we were in town. The staff are SO kind. You can tell they take pride in their business. The breakfast was fantastic. Several options including local types of cakes, pancakes, croissants, scrambled eggs, bruschetta, cold cuts, cheeses, toaster, yogurts, fresh fruits and other vegetables. Fresh juices, delicious coffee, jams, etc. (this picture is just a small portion of what’s available) We had a sea view room with balcony and it was so beautiful. You can leave your bags before or after check out with the front desk staff. They helped answer any questions you may need! Hotel is situated close to the castle and the shops all nearby were so great and food in the area is outstanding. If we return to Ischia, we would love to book at this same hotel.

Not a problem with the hotel itself, but Italy charges a tourist tax (which I find odd since tourists will be spending their money on local businesses while in town so this tax is less than can be spent with their citizens) but places prefer to pay in cash so keep that in mind. The price is not included in the hotel (any hotel/b&b in Italy) which I also think is silly.

This was the coziest hotel! A smaller hotel with very nice, personable staff who helped us with excursions and getting around. The view from our balcony was the icing on the cake. We woke up to beautiful sunrises every morning. The breakfast every morning was simple (we aren’t big breakfast eaters) but perfect to start the day.

The staff were all so friendly, the location and views from the hotel were amazing, leaving keys with the front desk was helpful when heading to the beach, the room was quiet and comfy, and we thought the breakfast was great (I miss the croissants already)!

Hotel Noris was just perfect, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, just at the start of the main cobbled street of the town and a 5 min walk from the car park that the hotel had recommended.

Location was great, the balcony sunsets. You were right near water and restaurants. Lovely inside and out. Easy to get around for this solo traveler. Right near the bus stop.

Lovely customer service from the staff, everyone friendly and happy. I liked that breakfast was provided. Clean rooms , nice location. At check in, offered a complimentary coffee, very nice touch. Also liked the 24 hour security at reception. Quiet and calm atmosphere.

The beds were only ok, not super comfortable. Would be worthwhile updating them.

I liked the location, close to the Castle. The building was very well kept, and the breakfast was out of this world. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a balcony so we could step out of the room for air. But don't let me forget the young men at the desk, who were so helpful and handsome .

The hotel unfortunately sits on a VERY busy road. Mopeds seem to be the preferred mode of transportation on the island, and are constantly beeping their horns.

Lovely hotel. The staff were so friendly and very helpful! We had a lovely, basic room but with a great balcony with a view of the sea and the castle! The location was perfect, a few minutes walk to the castle, restaurants and bars. There were swimming spots nearby and a bus stop and supermarket right outside. Would highly recommend!
