Hotel Parco Cartaromana

A beautiful hotel situated at the top of the hill overlooking the wonderful Arogonese Castle. The rooms are big enough for a family of 4 and the rooms are well maintained and serviced daily. The property has 2 thermal pools which is a bonus and the breakfasts offer a great selection of sweets, savoury and fresh fruit. At the end of the day, Paolo would fix us up with a lovely drink and some snacks. The hotel management and staff are brilliant and very friendly, they treated us like family and nothing was too much for them.This is our second stay at this property and we would have no hesitation in returning again, it is that good !!!

Beautiful views from just about everywhere on the property. Pools are very nice and clean, we were there at the end of September so the water was a little cold, but still very nice. Staff all were very attentive.

Whimsical hotel with much to do and we had a very nice stay with amazing views.

Loved everything about the hotel but noting that it is a bit harder to get to versus some of the other locations in Ponte or Porto. There is a nearby footpath where you can arrive to Ischia Ponte in less than 10 mins but its not super obvious and it would be quite the challenge with hand or roller luggage.

The bed sleeping pillows were unacceptably thin and hard

Staff were absolutely lovely. Ciro and front desk staff brilliant as were restaurant staff. Spotlessly clean. Main outdoor pool amazing. Room was brilliant with sea view (although slightly strange as had a kitchen Inc a new oven but no utensils ...cupboards were bare!) A few minor issues which were sorted immediately. Overall a really great place to stay. Thankyou to all the staff who were truly delightful.

Very friendly staff, always willing to help and go out of their way to be nice. The hotel also offered a pick up and drop off service to the main port area in the evening which was very convenient and the driver Mario was very friendly and prompt. The pools were so nice and the view from our room was amazing. We also had 2 little deck chairs outside on our little terrace to our room which was nice to sit on and relax. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel which was convenient and we went to another part of the island by bus and it was really easy. Overall it was a very peaceful hotel with nice staff and I would go back!

Maybe next time I would not have breakfast included as it ended a bit too early for us (9.30am) but it was decent when we had it. A lot of sweet options and fewer savoury. The hotel is on a hill, which is great for the stunning views but to get around the island in general to get to town centres etc it would be useful to have your own car or bike. Also the bedroom walls are a bit thin, we could hear our neighbours snoring but it wasn’t so annoying that we couldn’t sleep

Overall an excellent hotel. Pools are perfect. View is astonishing. Super clean. Recommended.

Going home

Beautiful views and breakfast are provided each morning. While the hotel is slightly away from the Port area with many restaurants, they put on a free shuttle bus which was great of them at the end of the night. They went above and beyond - would recommend it to anyone!

Great visit, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Great service, rooms cleaned everyday and fresh linen. Would definitely return! And the option of a shuttle bus free from the hotel 9-12pm which is great. The local bus stop is right on the entrance of the hotel.

Only downside would be the hills, to get to the property by walking but if taking the shuttle service or bus no problem!

Loved the hotel, we did have a preference with a view, but none were available…we will return next year and will book earlier…did like the outside space though, so it wasn’t a problem.

Maybe a toaster and a wider selection of meats and cheese…nothing major and nothing to fault.

Firstly the vista is fabulous, the staff are amazing, really helpful, courteous and friendly.The hotel is such amazing value.My husband is vegan and they were so accommodating Though a steep walk to town it is so convenient, however the hotel provides a free car pick up from 9pm

Located about 10-15 min walk from the centre of Ischia Ponte, and the beach. Nice view and quiet location. Three pools, two outdoors and one indoor. We went with kids age 9 and 11, and they loved the pool. Sun loungers always available. Bus stop located at the spot. Nice breakfast. Basic, but spacious and clean rooms and good wifi. Very helpful and nice staff. Shuttle to the centre in the evening, very convenient.

There are some steps and steep areas so perhaps not so good for people who are not steady on their feet

Steep hills of Ischia, but there is nothing you can do about that and the views are worth it ?.
