    Pros +

    • Our room faced the ocean and we had an amazing view of the sunset. It comes with breakfast which was made to order and had a continental buffet. And the customer service from every employee was great - everyone wanted to be helpful.
    • Lovely local family hotel w/ cheerful, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and central location was great for exploring Forio and area. Poseidon thermal spa is nearby and so worth it! Really top notch! A++
    • The staff was wonderful, and the room was great, breakfast plentiful and delicious and the view was beautiful. Teresa drove up to the parking area and helped us with our luggage (the actual road from parking to the hotel was a bit scary!) Mario kept us entertained at breakfast and everyone was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend driving around the island if you have a car and don't miss Poseidon Thermal Gardens!

    Cons -

    • The photos pictured a pool which no longer is there. Not a huge deal with the beautiful ocean there but I spent some time looking for it before ultimately deciding it didn’t exist. The facilities are a little dated. It just feels like a beachside rental and not a resort. The walk up and down the stairs to the property has litter and dog poop. I recognize that it is public access for the beach but it can be a little off putting.
    • Wifi was spotty in the room but worked everywhere else (the patio, restaurant, etc.) There are about 60 steps down from the road to the gate, so just be aware. The beach was ok but other beaches are easy to get to on such a small island.
    • The only downside would be if you are someone who is older and doesn’t walk very well it is about a 15 minute walk into town, but this was no issue for me and the walk is gorgeous and safe with great sea views the whole time.

Room was great, couldn’t be any closer to the beach and on site restaurant, staff was super helpful and friendly.

The property is beautiful, overlooking the Sea. The rooms are situated so you have a view and lounge chairs and a table with regular sitting chairs too. We had an umbrella. There is a beach but one needs to be fit. It is located down a hill and stairs. The water was very nice but for me it was hard to get out of because you sink in the sand. The room was a decent size. The shower was very strong and. Comfortable. They also had a hand sprayer to rinse the sand. The breakfast which is included in the room price was delicious! Mario made us eggs any way we liked. They had meats and cheeses, croissants along with the most delicious sfoigatelle I have ever had! The rooms were super clean! Flowers decorated the terraces. Teresa was very accommodating and as we had a car we parked in her lot at the top of the mountain and she picked us up and brought us up and down from there as the slope was difficult for me.

If you are fit and not handicapped, it’s great. But if you are not- it’s not appropriate because of the terrain.

Very helpful hosts, good breakfast, nice beach, quiet, comfortable room, very close to Forio.

Inconvenient to car, but hosts gave us rides with our luggage. Bit of a walk to town which we did not mind.

The view (+ stunning sunset), room was spacious, breakfast, staff (Mario was super friendly)

A swimming pool could be nice for summer. The entrance is in steep downhill so unless you have a car, it’s not for all ages.

Great location and super friendly and informative staff. Short walk down to beach but when windy access can be limited.

Wifi in room was poor. But great reception in breakfast and bar area.

This was the most amazing hotel! Amazing staff, steps from the beach, an amazing pizza restaurant right next door, and only a 20 minute walk to Forio. Will definitely be coming back!

There were lots of tiny ants in the room that crawled into my luggage. Not sure where they were coming from

Delightful hotel, so clean, fantastic views, comfortable beds & lovely rooms. Delicious breakfast. Beach just in front of hotel. Mario was so helpful in advising where to see & buses. 15-20 mins walk to Forio. Calm & peaceful stay. I would stay here again

Excellent location, very close to the beach and to a couple of restaurants.Easy walk to Citara and Forio. Not far from bus stops.

The staff was always very helpful and attentive to us. It's a really nice experience to come outside of your room and to meet the sea view! Would definitely recommend.

I loved my stay here! The room was impeccably clean, with turndown service every morning. Both the room and bathroom were spacious and lovely. But the best parts were the people and the location. The location is just up the hill from the Cava beach and their restaurant. I highly recommend starting your trip with a pizza on the beach—nothing better! The water was perfect and the pizza was inexpensive and delicious! The hotel is also a short walk to Citara & Poseidon (about 10-15 minutes) and Forio (20-25 minutes). It's hilly but I enjoyed walking along the hillside with views of the water. It helps you get ready to fuel up on seafood pasta and pizza ;)The family and staff who run this place are truly special. I left feeling like part of their community. Josie (Josy?) welcomed me when I arrived and was so helpful. She laid out everything I needed to know. They also answered my endless questions about the buses (which were confusing), called places for me when I needed help, provided recommendations, and even gave me a ride with them into Forio when they were heading there too. Teresa helped get me to Forio Porto and hugged me when we parted. I can't say enough wonderful things about these amazing people. I just wish I lived closer so I could vacation here more often. To echo what others have said, the walk down the hill to the hotel is steep so I'd only recommend booking if you're prepared for this. I wish I had known there was a driveway for luggage, so I’m sharing this now! If you arrive with a roller suitcase, there’s a driveway to the left at the top of the stairs (if you're facing the water). There’s a gate, but you can walk in next to it. It’s still steep and not smooth, but it’s much easier than carrying luggage down the steps—I realized this after the fact! Ha!

The Wi-Fi didn’t work well in my room, and cell service was spotty, but it was a minor issue. I guess you just have to sit outside and enjoy the ocean if you want to use your phone. Such a difficult problem to have ;)

Everything turned out better than we had hoped. Location by the beach Cava Dell`Isola and with a great view from the terrace and the room. The sound of the waves for complete relaxation. Quiet stay, everything just renovated, new look. Good breakfast and a great bar with a very nice bartender who tells you about the island. Nearby Vespa rental, bus stop and Forio, one of the most beautiful places on the island. If you are interested - Poseidon Termes is also 15 minutes' walk away.

Lovely hotel in a great location just off the beach. Friendly and welcoming staff who made sure we had a wonderful stay. I hope to go back in the future!

    Everything was great

A cozy family run hotel that we are returning to for the second time. Close to the beach and great restaurant. Very clean, green and cozy. The staff does everything to make the vacation pleasant and unencumbered.

Great location to explore the west coast of the beautiful island of Ischia, wonderful view from the terrace and beach just a minute away. Good breakfast and nice stuff. Great value for money.

We had an amazing stay here, just a short walk from the beach and Poseidon Gardens. The views from the property were stunning, and the location was perfect for exploring the island. Mario and Teresa were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay special. Their kindness really made a difference! Breakfast each morning was delicious and set us up perfectly for the day. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with warm hosts.
