Pros +
- Staff and falocities and breakfast were great
- The swimming pool was absolutely lovely to be in during the evenings. the room we booked was a terrace with ocean view room and we put it to good use whilst we stayed there. Definitely suggestible for when you want to have a nice drink or some pizza in the evening with a sunset hitting the ocean. The pizza place was about 50 meters from the hotel and was one of the best pizzas we have had during our trip to Italy. the hotel isn't that far from the town Saint Angelos which is a must visit for when you go to ischia and the beach was also just down the road from the hotel we stayed at. Another thing I found great is that they changed the towels and refilled the soaps every day, which is a must for the heat they have. Lastly the staff was very friendly and always checked if everything was alright.
- Comfortable rooms and great facilities. The pool was fantastic. Proximity to Citara Beach and Poseidon Thermal baths.
Cons -
- the hotel room in general wasn't bad, comfortable beds and all, just be aware that you might get some ants into your room, which sadly was the case for us. the breakfast in the morning was also dry and the food on the rooftop felt like it was reheated.
- Breakfast could include more fresh fruit and vegetables.
- Sand in the room, broken glass on the terrace, thin walls in the rooms, you could hear every conversation, terrible breakfast and no choice, smoke and stench from the toaster that was burning toast on coal. staff speaking German all the time, even instead of Bounjorno-Morgen!!! We are not in Germany!!! It is a huge hotel dedicated to German pensioners.

Clean room, great breakfast and wonderful staff.. Unfortunately air conditioning isn't turned on until mid June and we visited early June. The weather was already really hot and rooms were hot at night. Swimming pools are both thermal pools.
Breakfast. It was not only clacic Italian breakfast! You could also find omlet, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, tomatoes corn flakes with milk here. There is a great bar next to the thermo pool.Rooms are quite big. Even if you choose room with 3 beds, you will have enought space. We got terreace with seaview (amazing view). Street was next to the hottel but room wasn’n noisy. Bus stop next to the hottel. Beach 10 min walk or a few stops by bus.
Food and drinks were wonderful, accomodations were outstanding, all clean and fresh

The terme swimming pool was lovely as was the little outside bar, especially Valeria who was helpful and friendly. The hotel is dated as are most in Italy off the beaten track. Staff were very helpful at reception, both in the day and evening. Didn't feel I got a true italian experience with the food in the restaurant, was more catered towards the palette of the nationalities of the tourists that frequent there. The americano coffee was awful and came to the table in a metal jug! and tasted like Instant. It was a budget hotel but clean and cheerful.
The coffee americano
Lovely hotel - the two thermal water swimming pools and wellness spa are a great asset. Good service, good restaurant with flexible dinner/lunch options - we've booked only b&b but also had few dinners and the food was good and so was the service too. We do consider coming back to this hotel again next year :)
Everything was fresh and new. Therefore it was super clean. The size of the hotel was just right. It was large enough and spread out enough to accommodate all the guests without any overcrowding. It was peaceful with very few children and no boisterous guests. The thermal pool is fantastic. The temperature ranged from 34c on cold, wet days to 37 on warm sunny days. We really felt that the 30 minutes we spent in the pool every day were hugely beneficial to our joints and muscles.
The breakfast offered sparse choice. For example, the standard breakfast offered only boiled eggs - no option for fried or scrambled. There was usually only one fruit per day - pineapple one day; melon; kiwi fruit. On one day there was both apple and banana. It has to be said that the fruits were excellent. There was one daily salami and little choice of bread types. The evening anti pasta selection was quite good. Thereafter it was rather a narrow Table d’haute. But all was well presented and the modest cost of the half board was reflected in all of this. There was no complementary water in the rooms and no water on sale in the hotel. We discovered this is usual in Ischia. It meant we had to buy room water supplies in the supermarket which was not close by and kept the normal, small town restricted hours, and lug it back to the hotel on foot. Post dinner tea/coffee was not served at the table. Instead you had to go a considerable distance, especially when it the weather was inclement (which it was on two of the days of our stay) to the pool bar. The recompense was that the barmen there were charming and good fun and on occasion there was a very good entertainer.
The location is good.
The staff at the reception wasn't as welcoming. The room was very small and very old. Shower was terrible. The balcony is shared with other rooms and when someone smokes on the same balcony, you inhale their smoke. Breakfast was very poor, chaotic, and staff was not helpful and rude. Hotel wasn't prepared to deal with the downpour and water came in to the lobby and puddles by the entrance were knee deep. Will not stay there again.
The pool and grounds were lovely. Reallyappreciated the welcome drink. Some individualstaff were lovely.
Stressed out restaurant staff with poor service (ap ap(apart from the elder gentleman who was just the happiest guy I’ve ever seen).Felt like we had to ask the exact perfect question to get help. Asked for help getting to the port, was told there was no way of getting to the portexcept walking only to have a local bus fly pastus on the way down.Loads of mosquitos by the pool only.
room with balcony and sea view, close to the bus stop, helpful staff
basic breakfast
The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. There were beautiful beaches close by and a bus stop right next to the hotel so the location was perfect. Breakfast was good and the view from our room’s balcony was amazing.
Excellent traditional food.Great spa facilities at the hotel for a reasonable price.Stunning views of Citara Beach. We were given a free room upgrade which was a lovely surprise!
No complaints.
We had a very mixed time at this hotel. We arrived early and were told we couldn't check in, but needed to get ready for a wedding. The staff were pretty sharp and uninterested in trying to help us out but did so in the end, finding a shower and a room off a corridor to allow us to change. We were told we needed to pay a deposit for towels as we had to use pool towels. So far, so good.
On the flip side, the hotel is pretty shabby in parts, it's dated and definitely needs work doing to it. We were also charged 24 euros for the towels, despite nobody mentioning that were was an actual hire charge on top of the deposit. The breakfast is pretty basic and doesn't cater for any allergies.
